I'm sorry Tom, but the Gnats season is as over as ours is. When Pettigout broke his leg it was all over but the crying. With longtime turnstile Bob "Left Eye" Whitfield at LT it's going to be difficult for Eli to get much time to pass. Either that or the Gnats will have to pare back their playbook to cover for him.
Mind you this isn't a :poke: at you. Rather, I'm simply offering my condolances as the Gnats really are the only team in the NFC East that I don't truly hate.

Rather than this game meaning that the Giants are done, maybe it is saying that the Bears are pretty darn good. Maybe. The Giants will still win the NFC East. The Giants will be representing in the playoffs (probably to get upset in the first round again), but their season is far from over.

Giants are done. They used up all their good fortune last year.

Yeah, the Giants are in trouble. But someone has to win the division. I don't see the choking dog Eagles doing it. Nor do I see the Dallas TO's pulling it out. Against my preseason pick, I am going with the Giants. Tiki gives them the edge...

IF the giants beat the jags, titans, and skins they will almost undoubtedly make the playoffs. If they beat the jags, titants, skins, and boys/eagles they willl almost undoubtedly win the division. I'm just sick of watching eli play like crap and the giants abandoning brandon jacobs all game, the injuries are mounting and the giants d had no energy in the second half, they need to find some new trainers or something cus this crap happens every year (its just part of the game, not whining).

Giants probably lead the league in starter injuries. I'm guessing that Dallas is just consistent enough to take the NFC East this year.

Petitgout now has a broken leg so that is a very big concern, especially after the way Alex Brown took over after that happened. And don't forget, the Giants are now 1-10 when Strahan's out. If that injury keeps him out for a long time, that would be a major problem.
edit: It's a fractured leg.

I figure it will be the Giants, Eagles or dallASS. . I'm guessing the Redskins will be dead last, but as weak as this division and the whole NFC is, you never know what can happen.

Still think NY wins the East.

Whitfield won't be the starting LT. The worst case scenario will have Diehl playing LT which he has done and Seubert taking over at G for Diehl. They also have Guy Whimper who was a draft pick. And if you look, the Giants already have draft picks contributing in Cofield and Kiwanuka. The Giants are far from done. The key is getting healthy on defense which they are expected to in the next two or three weeks. If they can split with the Jaguars and Titans, they are going to be fine.

They lost to the best team in the NFC. Nobody in the Division would beat them.
They're still in decent shape. They've already played most of their tough opponents. They still have to play at Carolina and at Jacksonville, two tough but very inconsistent teams(I mean the Jags got swept by HOUSTON).
Not to mention they still have 2 more divisional home games and a Week 17 freebie in Washington.

I believe the division got alot tighter. I thought NY was going to run away with it but they have some issues with injuries. Whats the verdict on Tiki's hand I saw he banged up it again during the game. I think Philly showed they are still capable, Romo keeps improving. I think the Dallas-Indi game is going to be big for Dallas to prove they are still in the hunt. Right now I would say all those three have a shot at the division. Oh yea and the skins...... Please start Campbell GIbbs.

I still think the Giants win the East, but it is going to be a tough road.

Anyone except Dallas, I'm fine with.

Warhead the Bears lost to the Dolphins at home. It's a stretch to say that no one in the division could beat them. The Giants have a ton of injuries. I think it's a lost closer if both teams were completely healthy.

Same here.
If the Redskins can't win the NFC East, then I would definitely rather have either Philly or New York win the division.

Doubtful... Remember the Giants didn't beat the Eagles. So, in my eyes and prolly the eyes of most of the analysts of the NFL, they still have to beat the Eagles to be considered legit... same goes for the Eagles...

Weird... I could of sworn the eagles lost a game to the giants, at home no less. The eagles are 0-3 versus the giants the last year and a half.

If the skins don't make it then I would want the Giants to be the only team that gets in. I hate Dallas and Philly.
