I am currently in a 3-way tie (with two division opponents) on nfl.com's fantasy football for a wild card spot, with 3 games left. I face one of those opponents this week. Needless to say, I need this game!

Last weekend, I was one of those caught with the wrong "Bell" (Tatum instead of Mike) on the roster that got jacked up at the last minute. I still held a "razor thin" 5 point lead going into Monday night against my opponent, who had Eli Manning remaining to play.

Things were looking good for a half and early in the third quarter when it seemed like the Jaguars had put the Giants away with a fumble returned for a TD, only to see a penalty negate it and then later watch 2 Jaguars whiff on Plexiglass to allow Manning to secure the 6 points my opponent needed to beat me. Damn!

Anyway, this week, I don't know who to use and I need help baddddddd...

Tom Brady vs. CHI

Jason Campbell vs. CAR

Trent Green vs DEN

Your thoughts would be great to help me secure a playoff spot!

Wow, looks like a close league. In my opinion, i would start Tom Brady vs Chicago. The Pats lost those 2 in a row and came back big against GB last week. Brady is also playing at home, which should be a plus for them.

Trent Green is going up against a pretty good pass D. Champ is a shutdown corner and I think they will continue to pound the football with LJ (so he will get most the TD's). With Tony Gonzalez still possibly out due to injury, the TE threat really isn't there.

Starting Jason is pretty risky right now. Carolina is starting to play well again. I think he will put up average numbers (fantasy numbers, that is). We will prob go back to establishing the run again. Plus, our D cant get off the damn field so his snaps will be limited.

Just my :2cents: Good luck this week!!!

Thanks dawg... I am leaning towards using Brady, even though he is facing a tough Bears defense. The Bears will be completing their third road game in a row, while the Pats would like to make a statement against the NFC leaders.

Brady has been my QB for every game, except during his bye week. However, playing devil's advocate, the Broncos defense has been giving up a lot of yards and points lately. Green playing at home on Thanksgiving, under lights might be intriguing.

On the other hand, using Jason Campbell would be a "homer" pick at this point... LOL
