So, for most of us, Week 13 is the last week of our season. Some of us have our spots in the playoffs locked up. Some are fighting for the last seed.

Use this thread to tell us your seeding, how far you get, etc. Anything playoff related? This is the place for it!

I was lucky enough to lock up the #2 spot in my league a few weeks ago. (10 team league). I actually have the same record as the guy in 1st, but he has more points (and LT).

I'm pretty happy to have the first round bye though. This is my 3rd year in the league I play in, (Backyard Football League :D ) and I was the champion the first 2 years.
This is the first year we are playing for money though, so I damn sure better win this year!

yes im pumped for the playoffs. in my keeper league for money, i clinched first place last week.So i got a first round bye next year, that should help me win it all baby.

in the ES league i'm in there are 7 people tied for 5th place, me being one of them. it'll be a crazy last week.

and i've clinched in my other two random leagues.

In both my leagues I lost today but will probably get in the playoffs. I hopefully will have the most points for and get the tie breaker! We'll see!

As I said in the other thread, I hope it all works out.

Well, even though I was heavily "favored", looks like I lost this week. Right now my opponent and I are tied and he still has Steve Smith to play tonight. Unless he breaks a leg or something, I'll get one more loss.
Fortunately, it won't affect my bye.

On a side note, if my opponent would've started Vick and Bush, I woulda been spanked! :whew:

I am one game back from the wildcard postion. Just one question if by the end of the regular season if I am 8-5-1 and the other guy is 8-6, who gets is going to be in the wildcard slot.

You should...you have the better record....a tie is better than a loss.

I'm in 2 leagues. I clinched a spot in both of them.

In this one public league (10 teams), I started out 1-4. Then, in large part to LT, I have stringed together an 8-game winning steak. I'm now 9-4, tied for 1st record wise with 2 other teams, but I have the most points in the league, so I'm technically in 1st place. This week is the last week before our playoffs. Thank you LT - keep doing what you're doing. :applause:

In my 2nd league, with some people I'm familiar with (14 teams), I am currently 11-2 and tied for 1st place (but I have less points than the other team, so technially I'm in 2nd place). I have LJ on this team. The other team I'm tied with is playing the 3rd place team, who is 10-3. If the 10-3 team wins, and I win my matchup, I'll be in 1st place heading into the playoffs. So I'm in pretty good shape.

So in my ten team league. I'm ****ed even if i win this week. I'm the lowest playoff seed, so if I win I'll have to play the #1 seed. The guy went 11-2 and avg. 113.4 points a game. He has LT, Chad Johnson, and Mcnabb(that injury gave other league members a chance!!) The dude swept me in the regular season:(

I got the number 1 seed in one and need somebody else to lose this week to get the 8th spot in my other league.

It's funny because I had the last pick in the league I'm tops in and the third pick in the one I'm going to miss the playoffs with. Go figure.

So next year I'm hoping for the last pick. The talent level at the top is so close that even though your first rounder isn't as good as everyone elses it all works out.

So how didya do this week? (Did you start Lee Evans? :) )

Since I had to bye, it didn't matter, but lordy, I would've crushed anyone this week if I had played....thanks Drew Brees!

I suck at FF. I started every wrong player in both my leagues. I lost in one for sure, I'm down 35 with Benson, Jackson, Wilkins VS bears&bulger.

i dont have a chance. i suck

well i lost in my one playoffs team, the other i had a bye and scored the most points.

Then the other two im trying to get into the playoffs, i got hammered in the ES league and got in with the first place record in the other league.

So i only have two teams left. Atleast I'm winning my money league

I got first seed in both my leagues and lost both games to teams that were 7-6 compared to my 13-0 and 11-2.

Perfect team lost 97-130 and second team lost 91-95.

At least ESPN has two rounds, so hopefully I can come back in the second game.

Okay here goes-

Heading into the playoffs I was in 3rd place (out of 10.) If I won over the weekend, I would vault into first and get a bye for the first round of the playoffs. If I lost I dropped to 6th and I was playing the highest point getter and current 1st place holder.
By sunday evening I was down by a score of 225 to 95. It looked bleak, but I had some players left:

Drew Brees
Deuce McAllister
Steven Jackson
Devin Hester

I shouldn't need to say much more if you all watched the sunday and monday night games. :)

These guys basically put me over the top, into 1st place and on the bye. :)

I had started the season 0-3 (with Culpepper at QB), went 10-1 from there (after installing Brees) and pulled off the old "worst-to-first."

I love fantasy football.

because of fantasy, MJD is my unanimous choice for rookie of the year. i've been riding him hard.

i finished 10-4, and scored the most points overall. ballin. 1st seed.

Return yards are counted like recieving yards in my league, is that common?

I suck fantasyfootballs. I left 89 points on the bench!!! And in my other league, I started Cedric Houston instead of Ron Dayne...that cost me a win as well:(

I've been doing FF for about nine years now. I'm thinking about stopping all together. 20 million people do it now and I find that very annoying.

Big night for me tonight. I am currently losing my game 60-34. (Yes, b/c of Drew Brees....****er! Coulda at least turned it into a shootout where the Skins still won! :D )

I do have 4 players tonight though, (Marvin Harrison, Rudi Johnson, Ben Utecht, and Shayne Graham) so this game is still very winnable, but I am puckering a bit.

Here is to 200 yds and 3 TDs for Rudi!!

In our ES league I am the 3rd seed I have Rudi Johnson. I am down 58 to 55 currently. I am currently in the playoffs in 2 of my 3 yahoo teams.

Rudi Johnson just won my ES league game and a Yahoo league game for me. One Yahoo league is still up for grabs.

I'm in 7 leagues. I failed to make the playoffs in one league due to two final two week losses, or I woulda been 7 for 7. In one league, 8 teams, everyone makes the playoffs, so I count I made them in 5 of 6 leagues.

3 nfl.com 12 person leagues (4 teams), in the championship game for all 3
my one yahoo league, 4 playoff teams, I lost in the first round, so I'm just throwing in the towel there, and traded or picked up any Redskin I could, I'm starting an all Redskins team!

My other 3 yahoo leagues, I won, even though one wasn't for the playoffs. The remaining 2 have 1 more playoff round and then the championship game.

All 6 of my other leagues are with extremeskins people.

I still consider myself God's gift to fantasy football, yup.

6th seed (with 2nd LOWEST points total in the league) and now in the finals (trophy league)....lol and woohoo!!!

4th seed, and now in the finals (major bragging rights only league)

dead last in $$ league and now I'm also stuck w/commish duties next yr AND my significant other who is football clueless and in the finals......

In the money league..I snuck in with a 7-5-2 record. I am, naturally, the lowest seed.

What vaulted me into the championship was my opponents misfortune of having Favre in his lineup for a whopping -3 He also had LT, which made my victory all the sweeter.

I'm not too confident for the championship. My team is thin right now. Circumstances have compelled me to field a weak team.

Vick is hobbling. I'm down to one backup QB and I don't trust him.

My WR's, (Steve Smith & Anquon Boldin) have been major disappointments. I'm even forced to field Chris Henry, because all I have behind him is Wes Walker....Henry is the least of the two evils.

I'm loathe to start Addai. I'm slightly embarrassed to state that I will be starting Reggie Bush in his stead.

Bright spots, for today anyway. Willie Parker, Cooley, Viniateri & the Buffalo D

Couple that weak line-up.....and the fact that my opponent already wrangled 19 out of Larry Johnson and is fielding Philip Rivers, Jamal Lewis, Reggie Brown, Todd Heap, Reggie Wayne & the Patriots D does not give me too much hope.

Good Luck Everyone!

Alrighty, my lineup for today against my opponent.

Me

Drew Brees
Marvin Harrison
Lee Evans
Terry Glenn
Rudi Johnson
Willie Parker
Vernon Davis
Shayne Graham
KC D - got me 18 points in my format.

Opponent

Tony Romo
Chad Johnson
La"toe"nues Coles
Muhsin Muhammed
LaDanian Tomlinson
Frank Gore
Antonio Gates
Jay Feely
Buffalo D

As you can see....he has some pretty damn good RB's starting.
I am still torn over Willie Parker and Ron Dayne. It is hard to bench your stud, but he sucks against B-more. Then again...the Colts may tighten up against the run cuz that is about all Houston has. Grrrrr...decisions, decisions!

Good luck to everyone though. Here's to winning!

That's a tough decision...but I think Parker has a big day today....the Pittsburgh team facing the Ravens today is not the same one that they played earlier.

Good luck!

And so it ends. Even with leaving Ron Dayne and 20 points on the bench, I once again won the Championship in the Backyard Football League. And to make it better, we played for money this year. I am $100 richer just for having a good time! I love fantasy!

I was a little worried since my opponent had Frank Gore and LT. Luckily, LT FINALLY hit the wall a bit! (Which I am sure may have screwed some people in here....sorry!) And thanks to Marvin Harrison, and Rudi being the most consistent back in fantasy, I ran away with it.

This was my 3rd championship in a row....a Dynasty is born....
