Man, the shots you got today were the best work of yours I've ever seen on here...and that's saying a lot.

I love the whole Moss series in this thread, but the one with he and Milloy in it is just flat sick.

Good pics.

It seems that players don't get upset after losses like they used to. Maybe it's just not the same anymore.

We were talking about this at work two weeks ago. It's not just in football either. Players just take it like another day at the office. It sure doesn't seem right!

I agree. Lots of nice, very sharp close-ups. Good stuff! Thank-you

Thanks man. I'm actually going to use you as a reference on my resume from here on out. These are the kinds of things I typically have to pay people to say to make me feel better on a bad day. I really do think I've figured out how to get pretty solid photos. And with the team not doing very well the sidelines weren't nearly as crowded, so I had more room to get in position for good shots.

Thank you very much. You guys know how to make a guy feel better after a tough loss.

Here's my two cents: players hate losing. Try getting quotes after a tough loss and you'll understand that they take these games personally. But at the same time, players are a tight-knit group. Many of the guys on your favorite team are good friends with players from the Falcons, Titans and even (gasp!) the Cowboys. So they like to shake hands and catch up with their old friends after the game. As someone who has played hockey for years I kind of understand it. I know about half the guys in the league and even though I hate losing, I still want to say "good game" to my buddies after it's over.

Thanks for making this point, murf. I think so many people get caught up in the "fan" version of the game that they forget that the players are people, too. Back in the day, the NFL was a different animal. Teams were families that stayed together for years and years. Hatred of a rival team carried over to hatred of its players because it was always the same guys year in and year out. Nowadays, in the age of free agency and the salary cap, there is CONSTANT movement on these rosters year after year. Players develop bonds with their teammates, but they could have had the same bond with teammates from a former team just a year or two prior. Just because they can shake hands and hug after the game, that doesn't mean they took the loss lightly

Very well put. It's easy to see that you "get it."
