View Full Version : How 'Bout Those Cowboys!

Romo is apparently not the best qb in the league...he looks kinda average.

The puke defense is below average.

Roy Williams has trouble covering himself when he lays down in bed at night.

And puke fans only show up here when they win.

As of right now when I am posting this, the words "Dallas", "Cowboys", "Romo", "Saints", "New Orleans" and "Brees" do not appear once on the NFL.com homepage.

Why not report on their losses as closely as they reported on their wins.

You know why the Redskins fans like to talk bad about Dallas??? What is there to talk about when it comes to the Redskins "NOTHING" They lose every week and they have to bash Dallas (the most hated team). So it is expected why would they say anything positive about the Cowboys? Put a fork in the Skins because they are DONE.. Dallas still control there own Destiny and we still have hope!!!! The Giants and Eagles they have hope as well!!!! So what do you do as a Redskin fan what can they talk about??? Can't talk about Jason Gamble.. nothing to talk about there...so lets talk bad about Dallas.

Oh I don't know maybe it has something to do with Cowboy Bandwagon fans flooding the boards going on and on and on about how wonderful Romo is. Now he's had his 2nd straight bad game in a row - and we are LOVING IT!

And we've KNOWN the Skins are done. They've been done since they lost to Tennessee. It's not news. I have no problem taking a step back, getting Campbell some experience, and moving forward next year.

Oh and there is something to talk about with Jason Campbell - shaking off a horrendous 1st half and posting a 113.0 rating in the 2nd half. He's playing like a 2nd year player - and showing some promising signs for the future.

How's Romo handling 2 consecutive bad games? I haven't heard of any fist-fights in the locker-room at Redskin park, have you? I haven't seen any one saying they don't pay attention to Gibbs, do you?

Honestly, I think teams might have figured out how to stop Romo. Romo is one of, if not the best passer in the league when he gets outside of the pocket.

Also, it seems as though he struggles sometimes while inside the pocket. Do you think that the remedy for success against him is to contain him in the pocket?

when teams let him get out, he seems like a pro bowler. But last night, when he was contained, he struggled. I dont know, just a thought, might not be true

romo looked average while the saints looked like a super bowl team. Drew Brees was lighting up a good defense all night, nearly 400 yards passing with 5 TD's.

if the saints keep playing like this, they should definatly be the favorites from the NFC to go to the superbowl

You know why the Redskins fans like to talk bad about Dallas???

I can't speak for other Skins fans, but I'll tell you why I "talk bad" about Boys fans. Because a large fraction of you are in-your-face insufferable when your team is doing well, and invisible when your team sucks. See, you said yourself you still have hope for this season, which completely explains why you are here now. As soon as Dallas looks bad you'll be off this board and silent, the two things I usually hope for from your fanbase. So I want your team to lose, often and by a lot. It's pretty simple, really.

See, it's easy to be a fan of a team that is doing well. Showing support for a team that is struggling though, that takes heart. I see you registered here last season, so it would be interesting to me to see how often you posted and what your tone was once Dallas started to struggle.

This IS a Redskins message board, you know. If you don't like our attitudes, there are a number of Cowboys message boards you can go file your complaints on.

And I'm sorry, but I doubt that any Skins fans hate the Cowboy more than they like their own team. But since we all agree that the Skins suck this year, the next-best thing to seeing the Skins win is seeing the Cowboys lose, and then seeing their fans use words like "humbled" on a Redskins message board.

Lyold didn't play much, he was in the doghouse

Thanks Bubba, final question....

Even though it was against your beloved Skins, what do you make of the play of Former Volv Omar Gaither?

I started one today in the Stadium...it's probably on page three by now.

I usually start many threads here.

Welcome. ;)

Not denying it either.

The day my hatred for one team outweighs that of my love for the Cowboys is the day I stop watching football.

Gotta love the effect America's Team has on even the blindest of homers.

For god sake, learn to compose a coherent sentence. If you don't take what you have to say seriously enough to read it and make sure it's coherent, why should others? I don't have time to read crap I can't understand on the first attempt, nor do others. Don't post on this board if you can't compose a sentence. There should be some ES rule about this.

I think this thread needs this link. Too many 'guests' piss and moan that they are getting disrespected on a friggin Redskins board.

That link is just a reminder.

The immense love for the skins equals the intensity of hatred for the cowboys if you are a skins fan. Next question please...

Counting on other teams where yours failed.

Life as a Giants fan. ;)

From the "Now this is a true Poke homer" thread:

I am already waiting for all the dallas fans coming on here next week if we lose to the saints after last night in ATN

Are you kidding?

We're rooting for Washington in that one.

Just like we will when you play the Giants again too.

Counting on other teams where yours failed.

Life as a Cowboys fan? :whoknows:

And since I know what the rebuttal will be, yes, the Redskins are terrible this year. That doesn't make you any less hypocritical, HHM.

Horrible, plz...I love how cowboy fans trash JC when he is playing about the same as romo.:applause: ANd he played 4 games, he didn't look all that bad in the eagles game...After all, People were saying that the Giants game for romo was a replica of John Elway ability's....He can bounce back and make the one throw to win a game...JC isn't playing well, but he isn't exactly stinking. Against the bucs and the panthers, he played well...Against the falcons, he made some stupid mistakes, same for eagles game.

Yes the game was lost to the Saints were about the same stats as JC. You are correct. I guess the stats with the Giants, Colts, Bucs were the same as JC. Put it this way I would rather be in the Cowboys shoes than the Skins. I bet you would too as a fan.

I guess boy fans only bring up that my skins are 4-9 when they want to post on this board... God, these boy fans are so defensive..jeez Romo played better against the Bucs. He played like **** against both giant teams. The colts we played good, but not great.
