Getting your house RAIDED for steroids? That sounds a bit over the top for me... But then again i don't know anything about legislation and the nfl.

I have 0 to nill credability but if i had to guess, i'd say drugs.

If this is drugs, its probably a lot, so he'll be screwed. If its steroids it could be much worse because it is highly likely that he sold them to his teammates and several Bears could be implicated. Either way, this isn't good for Chicago, especially after losing Harris. Their season is quickly coming to a screeching halt. Didn't the same thing happen to them last year?

If it was steroids, it would have to be some kind of distribution thing to get this kind of attention.

Probably guns or drugs.

This just in:

The Cincinnati Bengals have just traded a 3rd round pick to the Bears for Tank Johnson. "We think he will be a good fit here" said coach Marvin Lewis. "His personality seems to mesh with the other guys in the locker room."

more to follow.

being on steroids doesn't necessarily turn you into a david boston clone

I'm not saying that this guy is or isn't, but that picture certainly doesn't show me he definitely isn't

CHICAGO -- Troubled Chicago Bears nose tackle Tank Johnson was at a nightclub early Saturday morning when a man who called himself the player's bodyguard was shot to death, authorities said.

The shooting occurred about 12 hours after Johnson offered a public apology to teammates and family for his third arrest in the past 18 months. Johnson, the Bears' starting nose tackle, will be inactive for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.

Willie B. Posey, 26, was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital about 2 a.m. The shooting took place following a fight at Ice Bar, a club in the city's trendy River North neighborhood, said Chicago Police spokeswoman Monique Bond.
