Seahawk's stadium comes the closest... but I think they should push the envelope even more.

A couple things Zoony.... Although they're horrible and will still never win anything the Cardinals new stadium is pretty amazing from what I've seen, never been. I think Oakland had that Coliseum when they built their place, with the pilars at least.

I'm horribly jealous right now, I thought the Linc is pretty awesome here in Philly and feel like I'm going to the old Vet anytime I've been to Fedex(I know it's not that bad but same "bowl" style.) This stadium, which I will give absolutely NO CREDIT TO THE COWBOYS FOR has got to be the work of some very imaginative and forward thinking arcitect. The Jumbo hanging in the middle of the field-freaking awesome......having jumbos on the outside???? if that's what this pick shows will draw in more people just to tailgate...

yeah, I'm jealous, definately completely jealous. I wish the Skins would've waited a few years to build Fedex, they would've know what the new "style" of stadiums were progressing towards and I have no doubt the Danny would've built the Taj Mahal of NFL .

Yeah I saw that ****, that was one of the first things I saw. I guess it makes them feel like it's a better stadium then it really is. Have no fear fellow skins fans, there will be a new skins stadium, dome and all, in DC by 2001, so they say and we will be guaranteed to host at leat 3 superbowls over the course of 16 years I believe.

I agree... Phili just got a new one. Dallas is building a new one, and Giants are getting a new one (even if it is still shared by Jets, it's still new) We will have the worst field of the NFC East.

Who said the jumbotron hanging in the middle is "freaking awesome"? They already tried that during the last World Cup in a German stadium. England were playing Paraguay, I believe. Anyway, point is it threw a weird shadow down and half of the pitch was in shade, half wasn't. Looked awful for TV, players complained and the stadium was never used again (for the WC). And if German architects/engineers can't make the jumbo-hanging-in-the-middle work, I doubt anyone the Cowgirls have will. It's to do with the wires, you see. Unless they find a way to shift the sun or something... :doh:

This looks like the plans for the new Mets stadium...reality hits when they actually find out how much it will cost...time it will take etc. Would love to see it built and then they find they have problems with shadows... :laugh:

edit: My mistake, they did use the stadium again in the WC, but only for night games...so the Cowdturds would onlyplay night games? :silly:
