Ok Philly fans, it is on. I am posting this here because the Eagle fans that are here I do respect.

Trotter gets one more shot at Barber. I don't think I could have picked a better opponent. These games are usually classics, especially the playoff ones.

We will be talking more during the week, I'm sure. But I figured it would be a good idea to keep all things related to this game in one thread.

If Tiki runs the way he did against us, Philly doesn't stand a chance. Their sieve of a defensive line should get trashed by New York and Barber. My prediction:

Barber rushes for 180 yards and 2 scores.

I did think that ARE, Arch, Lloyd and Carter were going to be "the difference." However I'm fairly certain you have no idea what my opnions of Bruce Smith, Deion, or Trotter were, because I was not posting on this (or any) board way back in 2001, and I for sure don't know you personally.

I've talked to a lot of Eagles fans who are pretty psyched to play the Giants again, but I can't say I feel the same way. Everything about the Giants season has revolved around the fact that they are more talented than they appear on Sundays; who knows when all their talent will surface at one time? That being said, I think our defense is playing infinitely better than it was 6 weeks ago, and if they continue to do so, we should win this game.

From what I've seen, I can't imagine Eli Manning playing particualrly well in the atmosphere of a Philadelphia playoff game.

Barber has 125 yards total in two games versus the Eagles this year. He's going to need to do much better than that for the Giants to win.

I think he'll do better, to the tune of around 100 yards, but I'm not sure either Eli or the Giants D is playing well enough to win. Hope I'm right. Didn't really want to see them again, but I think at this point the Eagles are pretty clearly the better team and at home....

You do know that Barber has averaged over 100 yards per game this year rushing but only 62 against the Eagles?

Tiki ran for more yards and TDs in a little over 1 quarter against the Skins than he did in 9 quarters against the Eagles.

Eagles defense isn't anything to take joy in either. Those last 3 games, it was picked up, but so was ours. When you face a team that can run the ball consistently, you will get crushed. This game can either be a war....or a whipping. Either way, I don't think the Eagles lose. The way the kids played yesterday, the energy in the building, they have there swagger back.

If they race out to a 10-0 lead, I can easily see all hell break lose on the Giants sidelines....then again, they came back against the Eagles before....but something is different....much different now....
