Just saw it on the bottom line. I'm sure it was expected by all. Just figured I would let everyone know. My opinion is Jim Mora will get the ax next in Atlanta, which is a shame.

That's kind of a shame. I wonder if Norm Chow will be the next HC in Arizona, because of the USC connection with Linehart? That's my prediction...

I thought that late run, might have saved his job

The Cards have some talent, if they can get an OL, and a good coach they might be a contender soon.

Although I feel he stays at USC, does Pete Carroll go to Arizona?

You were right. Mora was fired today as well. Good call.

I've heard this rumor a few times.

He has built a great program at USC.

I think he should stay with his young talented team.

I love Denny. He may be the author of one of the greatest soundbytes of all time, and he didn't get a fair shake with the organization.

Meh. He had three years, that's pretty well standard in the NFL these days. He should have got himself a better O-line. :2cents:

It's a shame. He didn't deserve to be cut just yet..

List of possible replacements:

Steve Mariucci
Mora Jr.
Pete Carroll - Not likely
Norm Chow

Can't get what your cheapass of a GM/Owner wont allow you to get.

Bidwell's never pony up the cash for more than one FA (Edgerrin James).

Coach's lifespans are far too short in the NFL these days, and I think the biggest contribution to the league's overwhelming mediocrity.

Let me rephrase for the slower-than-normal folks in ATNFL:

"I wonder if Norm Chow will be the next HC in Arizona, because of the USC connection with Leinart? That's my prediction..."

No wonder you're so popular in here.

Agreed...its a win immediately mentality that has taken over the league. I think Green would continue to improve that team for the next 3 years, but nobody has that kind of patience anymore. :(

I agree OWU.

The NFL desired and delivered parity and expansion.

Also free agency does not lend itself to coaching longevity.

Oh. For a minute there I thought Scott Linehan and Matt Leinart had a love child.

The guy was a first round pick and is probably part of the next generation of great young QB's. Better to learn his name sooner than later.

No wonder you're so popular in here.
What's your excuse? :whoknows:

Try not to take things so seriously, I was just joking around. Lot's of people screw his name up and it's funny to me, that's all. No wonder you got banned

AZ is a lost cause unless they get an o line. But guessing that Mora might wind up there.

Bummer for Green. :(

Arizona's gonna do good things sometime in the future.

Denny Green is a better talent evaluator than he is a coach, seems like. He might make a pretty good GM in this league. Somebody call The Danny. :)
