lil' maj numero dos

just found out recently that majorette is pregnant. pretty sure we got it right the first time w/ lil' maj, but we decided to give it another shot.

i'm hoping for a girl. i really wouldn't mind another boy. going into parenting, once we decided on two kids, i knew i wanted a boy and a girl. i knew i could handle two boys. i did not, in any way, want two girls, so it was good to have a boy first. :laugh:

the wife goes tomorrow for the first ultrasound, so we'll have a date then. we're thinking early july. our son was born on my mothers birthday (4/30), so it'd be neat if this one came on my mother-in-law's birthday (7/5).


needless to say, i am very excited. nothing tops fatherhood. greatest thing ever. eli is already talking about how much he'll love and care for his little sister (he's thinking girl as well). he'll be a great big brother.

You know, I was scared to death knowing my first child was going to be a girl. I always wanted boys and only boys.
Now, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I know you will be happy with whatever you get as long as he/she is healthy, but having a little girl is great!

You'll warm up to the idea of having another boy rather quickly. I really wanted a girl, but ended up with 2 boys...and have no regrets. They're both awesome...wild, but awesome!
