I dont recall seeing this article. I didnt know ADs brother died young. AD is a great dude. Seems this team as several great dudes on it.
I also like what they say about a 6th man and how important they are.
The time is growing near when we will have to re-evaluate where this team wants to go and what it needs to do to get there.
Gil is a star. Caron is awesome. We are on the map. We can make the playoffs. That's all good. But if we want to be the best, we have to address the D problems. That means admitting to the problems AJ causes on D and addressing that.
One solution is, go ahead and start him, but if he is getting burned, you need to put Etan or Blatche in to stop the bleeding.
Or you can start him some nights, when the match up is good.
But to start him every night and just watch him get burned over and over on some nights, isnt going to cut it. The same shoe doesnt fit every foot.
We need to develop a different type of team and that means a stronger post D. Maybe we score less pts, but we will will more games, specially against the tougher teams. One part of this is committing to giving Blatche more PT so he can grow. I dont mind lossing some games in order to get us there because there is where we need to be.
