I know that there are certain members here at ES who have been chomping at the bit for the creation of a thread where people could ask me questions directly. Somebody even started one a couple months back, but I didn't see it until it had already been closed as a "call-out" thread by the moderators.

So, now that my on-call week is over and I may actually be around the site a little more over the next several days; I figured this was as good a time as any to fulfill the request.

In an attempt to keep this from turning into a freestyle Bachanal of Roman proportions, there will be a couple of rules to this thread:

1. We're pretty much all adults here. Let's act our ages, not our shoe sizes (myself included).

2. I'm not going to answer vulgar questions or anything like that, so just don't ask them.

3. Two questions, maximum per post, please; and let's give others the chance to ask things before you post another set of questions.

4. For this thread, and this thread only, the ignore list is being abolished.

5. If at some point it becomes obvious to me that people are not taking this seriously, or that the level of discourse drops to a level of immaturity I'm not willing to deal with, I will stop answering questions.

Well, have at it folks.

Why do some people who come on a forum, say extremeskins.com for example, over value themselves by believing that they are so important they should start threads for people to ask them questions??

Because he is an enigma.

My question is pretty tame. I own an M1 Garand and Colt AR-15. My favorite one to target practice with is my M1. Which of your rifles do you enjoy the most?

As I mentioned in the OP, I'm decommissioning the Ignore List for this thread.

I wouldn't say it's ONE event, but rather a whole list of experiences in my early life that have set the coldness of my beliefs. I've posted my photo a couple times here, and commented on my birth defect numerous times. I'll tell you that kids can be very cruel in their comments, and teenagers just as bad, if not worse. Especially, but not only, female teenagers. Add to that the fact that I have two younger brothers (2 & 3 years younger than me) who were bigger, stronger, faster,(due to my issues) and more socially accepted than me by the time I was a teenager; and I think you get some idea where a huge amount of my coldness comes from.

It's going. Not as often or as thoroughly as I'd like, but it's moving forward. the new date for the tournament should be the last Saturday in April or the first Saturday in May. We are going forward with it, and I'll let people know as things develop.

Personally, I prefer the Garand. I like the .30 round better than the .223 and I've never been really fond of the design, layout, or feel of the AR-15/M-16.

I understand that but instead of turning cold do you think you could have grown to become a stronger person? You are not the only one that has had issues. I among a lot of others on this board have had traumatic events, been picked on (I was always the scrawny kid), or had something that was not pleasant. I chose to learn from those and become a better person. I have lived my life trying to not to stoop to others level but take the higher road. I also try to look for the good in everything and trust me in some cases that is NOT easy. Why go the other way? Wouldn't that make your life that much harder and more miserable?

I have never seen your picture or heard your story that is why I ask. My work computer blocks all pics and I only look at tailgate pictures from home once an awhile. The only situations i have had with you is reading some of your post which get under my skin and I reply accordingly sometimes I reply very harsh but I honestly do not understand your views and how you came to those viewpoints. Sometimes I am harsh because of your views towards certain things reflects towards a part of my life and people I cherish and I stand up for those and my beliefs. That is who I am.

Probably not, and I definitely wouldn't put any money on them if they were to be involved in one, but you never actually know. They could be smart and get other people to fight the war for them, which is the only way they've won a war in centuries; so who knows.

Question: You're dating a woman that has, to that point, met your prerequisites for female companionship. You come home from a long day of whatever it is that you do, and your dinner is cold. Why? Because she was reading.

A book.

About girlie stuff.

Do you
a) Microwave your dinner and sit down quietly to enjoy the History Channel as she reads,
b) Tell her that she has kickstarted the revolution and beat her unmercifully,
c) Remind her that she is, in fact, a woman, and that your dinner, is, in fact, cold, thus muddying the waters of domestic obligations and requiring you to put her out of doors, or
d) What's a woman?

Believe me, I know I'm not the only one who's ever been picked on or had a tough life. I know full well that my life is nowhere near as tough as many others. I tried the "turn the other cheek" thing for quite a while as a kid. Then one day I'd had enough, and somebody got in my face and I lost it. The punch split his lip pretty good and left him laying on the ground crying. All of the sudden it wasn't ME being pissed off or crying. It was HIM. That moment taught me something. It taught me that anger was an easy emotion. An emotion that flows much easier than forgiveness and generally makes you feel a lot better, at least in the short-term. It's a lesson I took to heart.

Considering that if I'm coming home to a cold dinner, more than likely I'm running late and forgot to call her and tell her that I wasn't going to be home at the normal time, answer "a" is probably the closest to what my reaction would be.

Ah, but I said that it was cold because she decided to read a girlie book, implying that reading was more important to her than properly timing the warmth of your dinner.

As much wood as a woodchuck could chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood. (I thought everybody knew THAT)

2) What do you consider to be the main cause behind Gregg Williams' stubborn over-reliance on a base Cover 2 formation, lack of blitzing, and inability to get to the QB or stop the run?

I believe the main cause of GW's reliance on Cover 2 without the aggressive front seven has been a total lack of confidence in the defensive backfield. To bring an aggressive pass or run blitz, you have to be comfortable and confident that the DB's who are in coverage will be able to cover their recievers for 6-8 seconds and/or that they will be able to tackle if a pass is completed in their area. Between poor selection of players and injury I don't see how GW could have much confidence in his defensive backs to do either. Therefore linebackers often have to be dropped into the shorter coverage zones to help the DB's out. That takes them away from run defense and pass rushing duties.

Ok. I hadn't read it that way. In that case, I would be sitting her down and getting an explaination of what had happened. So long as this was an isolated incident, it would probably end there. If it became a repeated issue, there would have to be steps taken to correct it.

Then again, I generally get home from work at about 4pm, so dinner the moment I walk through the door isn't generally something I want.

It has worked for ME. I understand it doesn't work for many people, but for me it has worked. I accepted long ago that I was going to live a very different life than many other people. My life may never be "normal", but it works for me. I just feel it's better to step away from society for the most part, and to remind myself when I do deal with society that the only person looking out for my best interests is ME than to let society continue to run me over.

You wouldn't be likely to see me at a tailgate. That's not really my type of event. When I do go to sporting events I show up, go to my seat, stay there for the vast majority of my time watching the game and go directly home at the point that the game ends.

The type of conversation you're talking about wouldn't be a good idea. As my female roommate has commented.... I am very "bad" at arguing. Meaning that I tend to exascerbate the situation rather than clearing things up when I do that.

No, I'm using the "view post" option to see the messages from those who are on the list. That way I can see the individual messages and potentially respond to them, without having to deal with removing and then re-adding everyone to the list and potentially seeing people's comments in other threads I might view while this thread is running.

$ = the universal sign for DOLLARS.

So $35,000 in pesos = 35,000 DOLLARS.

Two responses to this:

1. You might be surprised if you did show up at a tailgate, you would be treated like each and every other ES member and considered family no matter what viewpoints/issues you have. That is just the way it is! I was also using it as an example.

2. I would still argue with you and smack you upside your head :silly: I am female so you should expect no less.

Reading comprehension is good Major, don't you teach in a school? :D

PB's original question was would he accept 35,000 DOLLARS worth of pesos over 14,000 dollars.

Mass, I don't know how aware you are of this because you don't associate with illegals or foreigners but, in my experience, the children of these immigrants are public school attendees, English speakers and are, in fact, assimilating American culture to an extent, even if it takes a generation. Given that the attitudes towards Hispanic immigrants today are very much the same as the ones towards Irish, German, ect immigrants of 100 odd years ago, what makes you believe the Hispanic immigrants won't assimilate as they have? Having been in school some 10 years more recently than you, I can definitely say that the children of Hispanic immigrants in my area are not rejecting American culture or attempting to overrun it. They're going through the same progression that MY grandparents, who spoke their native Romanian and Russian tongues at home throughout their lives despite spending a majority of them here, did when they came to this country.

Also, given that you WON'T associate with them and therefore have no idea to what level they are or are not assimlating, how can you speak so strongly on the situation without any real first hand knowledge?

Bonus question: We've had quite a few good discussion in the past, at least I felt so, how'd I end up on your ignore list? I certainly can't remember being curt, rude or the like with you.

I understand that. Tailgating at any sporting event is something that I've just never seen the point in. I go to the stadium to watch the game, not to get drunk and hang out with people (not that there's anything wrong with that). That sort of thing just doesn't really do it for me.

Since you seem earnest in wanting folks to understand you, I'm not going to use this to pile on.

Thru the time you've been here you've told us of your beliefs, and how rigid you are in adhering to them. You've told us in a nutshell that you can't find a woman that meets your criteria, and for a little extrapolation on my part, that has you feeling rather lonely.
If constantly finding fault with society, people, etc has left you as miserable as you appear to be in certain areas of your life, is there nothing in you that says maybe a bit of compromise is in order?

Not necessaril;y compromise your beliefs, more like tolerate a bit of what you find intolerable, simply to bring yourself a little happiness?

To summarize, the question is have you ever considered becoming a bit more flexible in order to achieve some happiness? (Or at least less stress?)

For example, the beefeaters. As a history buff myself, i agree with you that in order to preserve history, we must strive to keep our accounting of it accurate. But, throughout history, times and attitudes have changed, sometimes for the worst, sometimes for the better. In using the female beefeater as an example, could this not be one of those moments in history where things change? (for better or worse.. who knows. At this point in time they are purely ornamental, and really don't affect anything.) The English monarch is simply a figurehead now, but in history they have been supremely powerful, until change came and democracy was adopted. (Not to mention, some of the most influential english monarchs have been women.)
Can you not enjoy a trip to the Tower of London secure in your own knowledge of history, and enjoy it simply for what it is, rather than who is leading the tour?

~Bang

Note, wrote this before seeing the photo. Obviously that isn't going to help in the social areas. However, i have seen a thread in which you did meet a woman and seemed to hit it off, but your rigidity got in the way, so I'll pose my first question from that standpoint.
Follow up to that one,, is it possible that you've developed a defense mechanism and won't allow anyone to get close?
Also, in all seriousness, have you ever spoken to a therapist about any of this? Obviously you have some issues, and with a face like that (not trying to be insulting, just no other way to put it) it's bound to have caused some inner turmoil you may not be able to deal with on your own. People can be very cruel, and no doubt you've suffered plenty at the hands of others who made fun of you or ridiculed you for something you can't help.

MSF can speak strongly on a number of subjects because he doesn't cloud his opinions with any real knowledge on the subject.

For instance, he has strong opinions about the economy of this country yet he admits he's never studied economics.

I imagine many of you have figured out MSF's modus operandi by now. People wind up on his ignore list because they expose the fallacies of his beliefs and arguments. In the same vein, he chooses to remain ignorant on the subjects he speaks strongly on because there's bliss to be had with that approach.

It was written earlier in this thread that MSF is an anomaly. If that's a euphemism for simple-minded then I agree. Otherwise I find nothing interesting or enlightening about someone who consciously chooses ignorance over knowledge and frames his opinion within that context.

I guess reading through this thread and seeing MSF post over and over again begs these questions about his sig:

Why do you think the United States of America started on April 19, 1775? I guess that's when the first shots were fired and Paul Revere and all that, but wouldn't the Declaration be the more appropriate date? Or maybe the Articles? Or the Constitution? Or George Washington's election, since your ending date is an election?

And also the question, why did the United States die on November 7, 2006 and not, say, November 3, 1992 or November 2, 1976 or November 8, 1932 or November 6, 1860?

That's exactly how I see this thread. An opportunity to understand MSF yet some have decided to "pile on" or joke around. (Not that I mind the jokes. The woodchucker question was classic and it seems that MSF took it in stride as well.) Now, my opinion on the answer to your question is that lacking compromise is a defense mechanism. If people, women in particular, reject him for his opinions/views, then they are rejecting him for things that he controls and not for the things he has zero control over like his physical ppearance or for not being rich.
With that being said, I hope one day you no longer feel like pushing people away, MSF. You'd be amazed at how much people are willing to look past when the person in the inside is a likeable, decent, good person. Anyone that holds your genetic or financial situation as a reason for not liking you is not someone that you should worry about, not someone that i would worry about, and someone that most people would not care about either. I realize how corny and after-school special that sounds, but it's true.

My 10 cents pscho anyalis of MSF (I am not a Dr but Play one on Extreme skins).

MSF - Due to his childhood, and young adult hood, and his physical looks, developed lots of anger issues based on being lonleys. Rejection, being picked on, left out of school "Clicks", resulted in sour grapes. Hating what he could not have. Self conciously, he longed for a simpler time. Middle ages - Where looks had nothing to do with things, and power ment everything. Even simpler times in America, where everyone one had their own position based on gender, religion, or heritiage. There was no "Free Choice" to hate someone or, worse, simple ignore them.

MSF gets rewarded by being extreme. Oposiste of being loved is NOT being hated, it's being ignored. Let's be real. As adults, I suspect that not many people still pick on MSF today, I'm guessing, as unfair as it is, when MSF is in a bar, or party, he is ignored most often.
Here -His disire to live in a time where it would have matter less, gives him the ammo to voice extreme positions. This results in reaction by everyone. This reaction is what MSF needs, he's NOT being ignored. People read his posts, they answer back, they give him human interaction.

There is, of course, traditional advice for MSF. Support groups, meet other likes you. But it's crap. People talking about how they all feel ignored won't help. MSF needs to have someone who wants to talk about MSF.
Better recomendation - That MSF will never follow. I have a good friend. very attractive. (Yes- She's only a Friend). Her chosen proffesion is a escort. Not a street walker, but a high end escort (FYI - Escorts are not illegal). Many of these women specilize in providing human contact (Not just physical) to those that are considered outcasts for what ever reason. She has told me story after story of time where she has had regualr clients, who have used her service, to do the every day things. Dinner, Movie, Party, Work Function, vacation. What has happen often is these men have build up confidence to overcome their barrier. To see the world as others see it, and to over come their self imposed isolation. It's amazing what confidence does to the world.

no - I'm not saying confidence means your soon have a supermodel fall in love with you. But I am saying, spending time with someone giving you the attention we all need some times, results in you having the confidence needed to know you deserve it, and that others will enjoy spending time with you, resulting in you taking more chances, resulting in being less lonley.

I don't expect you to do anything with this post but Laugh, but feel free to PM me and I will be happy to put you in contact.

How can you get your confidence back with a hooker when she is only hanging out with you because you are paying her? That doesn't make much sense to me.

EDIT: Now, if you paid her the first time, got her number, called again and she went out with you and maybe even gave it up for free, NOW we're talkin'!

Sorry for the left turn off the thread! :silly:

First of all - Escort. Not hooker (Yea - Even I don't really buy that difference. But since you never know who is reading, that's my story and I'm sticking with it). LOL

You ever say "Man - That place gives GREAT customer service?" Well -They are only giving customer service because your paying them. So what. It still feels good when they are making you feel special.
Same thing applies. MSF needs human contact from somone who will not judge, from someone who will listed to him talk about him, and be intrested. He could go to a shrink, but that would be in a office, for a hour. He needs to have someone listen to him sharing a common experince. Dinner, Movie, party.

MSF, we've talked before, I know a lot about your struggles with your Dad, I never knew the other issues that have been brought up in this thread.

So my 2 questions...

1) Seriously, how often do you get into a physical confrontation with someone? When was the last time and why????

2) Now that you're older, are you closer with your Brothers or have you become friends with some people at work that you go out with???

I see that you've signed off, hope you're back soon.

Thanks, twenty-eight. Though I do have a suggestion for you.... find a professional make-up artist to make your face up like that then go to a bar and try to pick up a lady. I think you might get a very different reaction than you'd like to think.

I've known many decent looking guys who don't have luck with women. Then I know of pretty unattractive guys with very hot girlfriends. Just thought I'd share. Sure they don't have that birth defect, but other than that, you look pretty normal.

I've been tough on MSF over the years, because I'm still not convinced that at least part of all this drama that surrounds him is an act. In fact, I've always kind of hoped that it was, because some of the stuff he says is in his heart would be a lot less distressing that way.

I've got a question about the issue with DC United and the Nationals...They are both getting new stadiums and it will leave RFK empty.

1. Do you think Danny will build/blow up RFK Stadium and build a dome for the Redskins or stay in Largo?

2. Is it possible Danny would make RFK Stadium a stadium for an Arena Football team like they do in with the Pepsi Center in Denver (Nuggets, Avalanche)?

Amy, I believe that the Sufferage movement was the precursor to the Women's Liberation and Feminism movements that developed in the latter half of the 20th Century. Unfortunately the Women's Lib and Feminism movements have taken this country away from those roles and I believe we're considerably worse off for it. Does that help clarrify it for you?

Why do you think the United States of America started on April 19, 1775? I guess that's when the first shots were fired and Paul Revere and all that, but wouldn't the Declaration be the more appropriate date? Or maybe the Articles? Or the Constitution? Or George Washington's election, since your ending date is an election?

Reasonable question, DjTj. For me, America is as much, if not more, a philosophy than it is a physical place. On April 19, 1775 the farmers, shopkeepers, and other people of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New Hampshire looked the single greatest military in the world at that time straight in the eye and metaphorically said "From my Cold, Dead Hands." In refusing the order to disperse on Lexington Green, those Minutemen did something that no other British colony had ever done to any significant degree.... the stood up militarily to the British Army. From that moment when SOMEBODY fired a shot on Lexington Green until the emancipation of India some part of the British Empire was in revolt at all times.

And also the question, why did the United States die on November 7, 2006 and not, say, November 3, 1992 or November 2, 1976 or November 8, 1932 or November 6, 1860?

As bad as some of our previous Democrat Presidents have been, most of them didn't have the massive backing from the people that this Democrat Congress now has. Kennedy had support from the people, but he was much more centrist than the current batch of Democrats. For me the killer combination is an exceptionally Liberal set of Democrat Congresspeople being elected and the backing they have from the people. That tells me that not only is the government no longer trustworthy, but the majority of the American people no longer are either.

Bang, my apologies for taking so long to respond to this. Somehow I missed it the first time through.

Not necessarily compromise your beliefs, more like tolerate a bit of what you find intolerable, simply to bring yourself a little happiness?

To summarize, the question is have you ever considered becoming a bit more flexible in order to achieve some happiness? (Or at least less stress?)

I do my best to tolerate those things I know I cannot change (like other people); but acceptance is something that's really not part of my makeup. For me, the acceptance of many of these things would lead to what I consider hypocracy in myself. I am not really anywhere near as "miserable" as some of you seem to believe. Are there things I'd like to have or do or see that my views restrain me from being able to achieve... definitely. I'd love finding a wonderful woman to spend my life with.... but I've accepted that what I'm looking for doesn't exist anymore. Things like that. I know my limitations and do my best to work within them.

Can you not enjoy a trip to the Tower of London secure in your own knowledge of history, and enjoy it simply for what it is, rather than who is leading the tour?

Something as totally out of character as the female Beefeater would really get to me. If, say, the beefeaters were supposed to all be blond men and there was a brunette or a red-head leading the tour, I could probably deal with it; but the gender thing is just too much.

We have a wonderful medieval arms & armor museum here in Worcester that I rarely go to, because there are SO MANY inaccuracies in their displays and commentaries. It's a great collection, absolutely destroyed for me by the lack of a little bit of fact-checking and research.

Yes, a lot of it is a defense mechinism. I won't deny that in the least. Everybody talks about "turning the other cheek" and forgiving people and things like that. Unfortunately those things don't make the pain inside go away. At least not for me. That leaves me with two options.... lash out at the people who hurt me, or make sure nobody gets close enough to me to really hurt me. Knowing some of my personality and predilictions, do you really think I've made the wrong choice?

Also, in all seriousness, have you ever spoken to a therapist about any of this? Obviously you have some issues, and with a face like that (not trying to be insulting, just no other way to put it) it's bound to have caused some inner turmoil you may not be able to deal with on your own. People can be very cruel, and no doubt you've suffered plenty at the hands of others who made fun of you or ridiculed you for something you can't help.

Yes I have. I spent about 2 years seeing a therapist on a weekly basis when I was a pre-teen. The therapist's final commentary was that I wasn't a real danger to myself or anyone else, and that I would change IF/WHEN I ever found a reason to and nothing anyone could do was going to make me change. I've never found a reason to want to change.

In my case it's not that easy, Blondie. While there are procedures out there to remove birthmarks of this type, most of them don't work on birthmarks as large as mine, and the ones that do have a serious potential for scaring. Not something I'm really interested in on my face. They also take tremendous amounts of time on a birthmark this large (a fist sized area every six months at most).

More importantly, I'm not sure I'd ever have it done, even if they could do it quickly, painlessly, and without the potential for scarring. I've lived with this face for going on thirty-three years. I don't know that I'd be able to look at another face in the mirror and recognize it as myself.

1) Seriously, how often do you get into a physical confrontation with someone? When was the last time and why???

I do my best to avoid physical confrontations. They're the last resort so far as I'm concerned. The last one occured in early November at a horse expo at the Big E in West Springfield. This young man walked full speed into my female roommate who was standing at the edge of a vendor's booth looking at something. They both went down to the ground. As they got back up I waited for the young man (probably 16-18) to appologize. When he started to walk away without doing so, I grabbed his arm and asked him if he was going to apologize. He looked at me like I was speaking Swahili. I gave his arm a little bit tighter squeeze and asked the question again. Still no response. I squeezed a little harder and apparently that got his lungs working again because he muttered a barely audible apology and headed on his way.

2) Now that you're older, are you closer with your Brothers or have you become friends with some people at work that you go out with???

I am closer to Paul & Steven, but still not anywhere near as close as they are. A lot of the animosity has gone away, but we're still not real chummy. My friends come generally out of my hobbies rather than work. I don't really "hang out" with other people. That's never really been something I feel comfortable or relaxed doing.

Generally late November/Early December until the frost starts coming out of the ground. We're a construction related department so our work generally slows down significantly at this time of year. Between the Unionized employees and the fact that most of our engineers would find other jobs if there was a "scale down"; the company has never even considered it. I can appreciate the logic. I also understand how faulty (nothing personal) it is. Working in this sort of company is kind of like being in a cross between a construction company and a fire deparment. There are times of year when things are almost dead and others when we're totally swamped. Additionally, like a firefighter, there are times when we don't get the option of running away from what we don't want to deal with. For instance, they're predicting a potential ice storm for this area on Sunday. If it materializes, I will likely have to drive 15 miles on treacherous roads to go into work; whether I want to or not. You see, I'm considered "essential personnel" by the company and the state. I don't get to say "the weather looks too bad for me to go into work today"

Mortgage is a different story, I think people getting paid to work and not doing so has a cost effect somewhere down the line.

Well thats very respectful of you. Do you mind telling me who your least favorite member is?

Yes, I do mind. First of all because I don't look at it that way, and secondly because at the beginning of this thread I asked people (including myself) to act our ages, not our shoe sizes.

How do you feel about Arabs?

As an ethnic background, I have no problem with Arabs. As a region, I have no more or less disdain for Arabia than I do for any other area of the world outside the U.S. I do think that the modern Arab people need to do some very deep soul searching and see if they really believe that their societal and religious philosophies are in their best interests; but that's for them to decide, not me.

I think MSF's last response said it best as it pertains to the Electric company, and I understand where he was coming from. Electricity is a necessity, so no sense in hating them. Mortgage is a different story, I think people getting paid to work and not doing so has a cost effect somewhere down the line.

My company has a slow period right now, unfortunately we had a layoff. I'm a salaried Manager, so it meant more hours same pay for me. But I'm working and was able to bring the one employee back that I had to layoff after one week. but I still lost a setup person to another department for awhile.

Yeah, we actually just had a Voluntary Layoff...I think we get some type of state funding for our training prg and we'd lose some if we did a normal layoff. I actually offered my resignation but it wasn't accepted. In my department, if the phones aren't ringing any other "work" they'd give us would really just be busy work and wouldn't get done well considering our main responsibility is to answer the phone when it rings. So between calls I'm surfing the web, and most calls are pretty short with a small form to fill out for each one. Pretty basic stuff, nothing that more or less call volume means more or less profit...don't deal w/customers.

So you think people treat you for how you look and you do the same in return i.e. not getting to know people before passing judgement. Every minority person (be they white, black, brown, purple) knows somewhat how you feel, though it is obviously different.

You see comments like this "2. I would still argue with you and smack you upside your head I am female so you should expect no less." (no dig at the poster here just using an example form this thread to make a point) that says I'm a woman so you must treat me like... and when you say you are a woman so I treat you like... there is not much difference.

When I first saw your thread I almost replied with a 'hi' post. No questions, no words except to say we do not see eye to eye but hi anyway.

Then I saw the pic and yeah it must have sucked to be you as a kid and probably still does. So you're a mirror and give back what you have (actually and perceived) received. My thinking on that though is your actions define you as a person (as they do everyone, not talking dating etc here but the person you are) and you are giving people back what you hate getting. You should think about that and IMO make a change but then I am not in your shoes so it is easy for me to say.

So to my question, to myself "is this a reach out".

Whether it is I should have just said hi like I intended, but none of us are perfect especially me (we all see our own shortcommings and often fail to see our upsides).

So:wave: (if you lipread these dudes right to left they say hello ;))

Amy, I believe that the Sufferage movement was the precursor to the Women's Liberation and Feminism movements that developed in the latter half of the 20th Century. I grew up with the belief that each gender had appropriate roles to play in society. Unfortunately the Women's Lib and Feminism movements have taken this country away from those roles and I believe we're considerably worse off for it. Does that help clarrify it for you?

In short Amy, he thinks women aren't gifted enough to have the right to vote; basically I guess that means that ya'll don't have the mental capacity to figure out who or what to vote for. So back into the kitchen with you, and you had better take off those shoes and get used to popping out babies.

It's not about getting even, or mirroring their actions... it's much more a means of social self-defense. A way to weed out those people that I really don't want to have anything to do with. Believe me, the birthmark is a huge advantage in certain social situations where I meet people for the first time. I get a lot of insight into most people very quickly the first time they meet me in person.

There are people who have earned my respect and trust. It's a small list and getting on it takes a considerable amount of time and acceptance and understanding, but for those people, I would do almost anything.
