I couldn't believe this when I saw it. But after thinking about it, and looking at the kids I see at the malls these days...I do indeed believe it.
Parenting gone wrong.

:wtf: I dont even know what to say about that.
Not that my parents would ever have bought me a car, much less a brand new one, but if I had reacted like that, my dad would have been like "fine, **** ya. We'll take it back."

spoiled kids are just going to have a harder time adapting to the real world when they leave their home..their problem, not mine.

 Yea I was crackin up when he kept saying it's off, and continued to record and then the chick came at him and he started laughing and kept filming. LOL.
And I don't think it's fake. That **** actually does happen to spoiled kids. People just think it's fake, but I think it's 100 % true.
If anyone on here watches my super sweet 16 on MTV (I watch it just to see how spoiled these kids really are) they'll know what I mean and how this video isn't a fake.
That girl is a whore, and the dad shouldn't have gone Wayne Brady on that *****. She got a car and ****ing cried about it.
If I was the dad, I would have said something like this, "Fine, you ungrateful little *****, if you don't want it, your brother can have it, and I would have tossed the kid filming the keys."
She wouldn't have gotten ****!!!!!!!!!

If it is fake it's a pretty good fake.
A girl at my HS complained when her folks bought her an RX-7 so they took it back and got her a red Mustang Convertable V-6. She liked that just fine. Another girl drove a brand new Lexus LS 400.I drove a '78 2 door Oldsmobile 98 but that car was sweeet!

The video may be fake but I dont doubt that somewhere at sometime, more than once or twice or ten times something like this has happened.
****, I have a car to drive and I am grateful I have it at all. Some kids would kill to have something that moves at all much less a brand new sports car/convertible. The message of the video is still clear. Spoiled kids need to be beaten into reality.

1) I'm pretty sure where she lives, crime is not an issue, especially in a school parking lot.
2) Sebrings are NOT sports cars, they have the smallest V6 I have ever heard of (2.5L, 168 HP, handles like a boat) Everyone thinks it's a saab, but if you look at the grille, you can clearly see the Chrysler "Wings" also the rims were from the 1st gen verts.

I was spoiled! My first car was new Mercury Cougar fully loaded. My dad and I shared it and he bought it for my 14th birthday (I could not get my license till I was 15). My second car was a Z28 Camaro (I got it for graduation) then I had 3 other new Camaros. I paid the car payments on the last three my dad paid the insurance. There were rules on the cars though. They had to know where I was going, who I was going with, I had to keep straight A's, and if I got a ticket they got my license and my car.
Now when I went to look for a new Camaro (the last 3) I knew my dad would have to cosign so I went looking at cars he liked. The Camaro and Mustang. I knew he would easily cosign for those. One bad thing about that situation was dad kept stealing my car and left me with the z-28. I swear every day the car needed an oil change, tire rotation, or new govt decal!

much of society is spoiled. that is what happens when you are the richest nation in the history of the world.
there is no sense of shared sacrifice as Americans- except for the 2% of the population serving in the military, the firemen, the police, and maybe the unique united community scattered here and there.
just observe movies, tv, news and you see every day how the society is lacking in morality and values- other than the chase for the mighty dollar.

Were not all spoiled, those kids are just giving our generation a bad reputation.
Parents made me get a job when I was 16, thanks to them, lots of money in the bank and im guessing im going to keep accumulating it until im old enough to actually need a car. Until then, its 30$ a month for the bus pass.

Yes AFC, everyone but you is spoiled, which would explain your excellent people skills. :)
Despite what this video suggests, there are plenty of parents in this country who understand the meaning of self-sacrifice. I wouldn't presume to suggest that those of you without kids don't know what it's truly like to put someone else first and yourself second, but don't presume to tell me I don't get it either.

Same here, when I turned 16 all I got was a coke and a smile. LOL. And I got a job at 15 and now have saved up enough money to buy my own car. Nothing is handed to me. Thats not how it should be in America. You should have to earn every thing you work for.
Which is exactly why that spoiled girl and many others are going to have no idea of how to make a living when they get out there by themselves. So in light of that, I couldn't care less how much whining and complaining these chicks do, because karma is a ***** and it's gonna bite them right in the *** later on in their lives.

I do not think it has to do with being spoiled or not. Maybe partially but I think it has to do with parents giving kids the right direction and morals and values. Like I said I was spoiled. I had pretty much anything I wanted. I did have to earn it by grades behavior etc but I still got it. My parents did teach me values and morals though. They were not wealthy but gave everything to me including my private school (which I hated but they thought it was best and looking back on it it was for the best). As a child my mom would tell me that a certain family kids were not going to get Christmas as they did not have the money to buy it etc. I would go through my toys and give things (lots of things) to them where they could have toys. I was taught respect and my family was very strict. If I screwed up I lost lots of stuff and rights.

When I was 16 my parents let me drive a beat-up 1978 Caprice Classic. Nothin special, but a car's a car. When I was 19 they let me take our 1986 Nissan Maxima to college with me (to this day, that's still the best car I ever drove.) I didn't get to keep those, but when I graduated college in 92, they gave me brand new Acura Integra. (I wanted a blue one. They got me a black one. I got over it. :) )
But you know what? Nowadays I buy my own cars, pay my own mortgage and even work for a living. Full time.
Being rich isn't a detriment. Getting stuff doesn't automatically make one spoiled. That girl isn't spoiled because her family is rich, or because they buy her things, or because they didn't spank her, or because she's not in the military  ... she's spoiled because her parents did a lousy job raising her. Poor people can be bad parents too. So can spankers. Even police officers and firemen can be bad parents.
This video is an example of a product of bad parenting, nothing more.

For my high school graduation, my parents did the following.
I was inside the house, and my folks came back from a long day in town (I had no idea what they were doing). My dad comes in and says "son, your mother and I are very proud of you for what you've accomplished so far, and know you've got a bright future ahead. But we realize you need something while you are off at college. So it's out in the driveway."
I jump up, run outside, and there in the driveway is my brand new brown..

Oh c'mon henry. YOu know what I mean. Of course there's more to parenting then hitting. But of course a simple smack across the face is probably the most effective. Because I;m sure this girl was like this all her life. Everytime she didnt; get what she wanted, she probably bitched and whined. But let's think about what is a more effective parenting technique (for this kind of behavior as a kid): YOu could send her to her room where i;'m sure she had her own phone, a TV, a computer, and plenty of toys, or you could just take a firm, backhanded swing to her face. Garantee, if she had been slapped for that kind of spoiled, unappreciative behavior early on, she gladly accepts that beautiful car now.

She might also come to the conclusion that violence is the ultimate problem-solver. And that if someone is doing something she doesn't like, the proper course of action is to haul off and hit the person. Given that she's a spoiled *****, her judgement on who to hit and when might not be the best. And then when you give her a car that's the wrong color, she takes it, but then smacks her brother when you aren't looking because she's angry and he's weaker and she knows stronger people get their way when they hit weaker people, and this makes her feel strong.
Actually, a better solution would be to not give her a phone, TV, computer or whatever, until she has proven to you that she can use those things responsibly and that she understands that possessing them is a priviledge, not a right. Then she might feel the same way about the car when it's presented to her.

Yeah, you gotta smack 'em when they misbehave as well!! ;)
This video is an example of a product of bad parenting, nothing more.
I agree...some parents try to substitute material things for actual parenting, thinking that they are one and the same, or thinking they can "buy" their way out of being a parent. It doesn't matter how much stuff you buy a kid, if you teach them to respect their things, be greatful for there things, and to not associate their things with their personal status. Also, if you're actually parenting, as well. I think its also important to make kids earn the stuff you give them; whether it be chores, grades, attitude, whatever; I think that really helps them learn the value of working for things, and not taking them for granted. The problem arises when you just give without concious or consequence.
I've known both sides of the spectrum - kids who were spoiled and just stuck up pains in the ass, and I've known kids who had everything growing up, but kept their heads on straight and are still very good people (my cousins fall into the latter category).

I can beat that - my first car (got it when I was 19) was a 1987 Volkswagen Scirocco (in much worse cosmetic condition than this one, but same year and color):
http://www.getty.net/scirocco/earlygti_awayshot_feb2000_large.jpeg
It had no A/C, and tended to overheat (except on the highway - good old air-cooled VW engines!!! An excuse to drive really fast!! :)) so I had to crank the heat in the middle of summer, with the windows down, in South Florida. :( The windows didn't seal, so every time it rained it leaked a little bit, and I had moldy floormats :puke:. There were a few what I'm convinced were bullet holes on the side of the car, and the windshield wipers only worked half the time (usually the dry half  ).
It was a hatchback, however, so I could fit a ton of stuff in there!! w00t!!

If I ever have kids of my own, they will be sent to the bathroom when they act up. Lets see how much fun they have sitting in a 1/2 bath with nothing to fo for 30 minutes.
It would be even better if you took a big :pooh: 2 minutes before you send them there. I guarentee they would dread going to that bathroom ever again. haha

I really feel bad for the dad when i watch this video but if I was her dad that brat would have seen 3 things after that reaction:
1.) The back of my hand across her face.
2.) The beautiful red sports car going back to the lot
3.) her getting nothing for her birthday

Here we go again.
Believe it or not, there's more to parenting than smacking your kid when they mouth off.
True, but the reason we have all these spoiled, mouthy, show no respect for your elder kids is because spanking has been taken away from the parents. These kids these days are a bye product of the failed "timeout" age that started in the early 90's.

Exactly. I got spankings also and I knew not to be disrespectful to my elders because I knew if I weren't, there would be a strict punishment. I can't say this for EVERY child, but for most, if you don't let them know from an early age who's boss and that there's a belt waiting behind bad behavior, you're gonna have problems when they become teenagers. GUARANTEED!!!

My first car was a 1976 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham.
350 V8 4 barrell carb and Rally wheels. What a boat! Did I mention the bumper was rusting and falling off?
