I pass it everyday on my way to work. It's a mile or two from my house. Good old Glenmont, that's a classy shopping center :laugh:

That Stained Glass Pub II was in Olney. Key word is was, the company who owned the space basically kicked them out to build offices. The original Stained Glass Pub is in Glenmont.

18 is an overrated birthday basically all it means is that you can be forced to serve in the armed forces, smoke, and vote in a corrupted process full of corrupt politicians. It also means that you have no chance of being tried as a juvenile ever again.

So, what did I do on my 18th birthday? Me and some of my friends went to see a movie, and then we ordered pizza and stayed up playing video games all night long. I got a couple of CD's as presents, other than that it was pretty much the same as every other night except we had some cake too; German chocolate as I recall made in a bundt cake pan. How do I remember that? Well its the only kind of cake my mother used to fix. It was about a year or so after I left home that I realized most cakes weren't made in a bundt pan.




Yeah, in case you're wondering my childhood sucked, but I'm feeling much better now.;)

When I turned 18 I got the hot seat at Night Shift. I became a man that day. I don't know how the Denver area does it but go see if you can find a place where naked women dance on you. And see if your friends will pay for it cause that can get expensive.

I got wasted(my birthday is 4/20) and went to a HUGE house party. To make a long story short I broke my ankle in three places jumping a ten foot high fence while running from the cops, who busted said party. I spent the night in agony on the couch and then drove myself home in the morning. It was at the point that my parents saw I couldn't walk and demanded I go to the hospital. Parents are so smart. :doh:

no im almost positive they don't, or else everyone at my school would be there like every weekend since were like 5 minutes from DC. anyways i really doubt that's possible iwht out high schoolers ever knowing about it.

It's state law, not federal. And All states changed it when the Fed cut off highway funds until they did. DC kept it 18 for awhile because the are not a state.

But 1988 was the last time that was possibile.

First and foremost, be careful. No matter what you do. My first traffic accident response when I was an EMT in the service was to a single car accident involving 2 teens celebrating one's 18th birthday. This also happened to be the driver. Car flipped end over end, ejected both the driver and passenger, and settled in a ditch. Compacted down to about 1/2 it's original size. I worked on the more seriously injured of the 2. This was the driver/birthday boy. When I got to him, it was fairly obvious he was not going to celebrate being 19. Like I said. Be careful.

Well - That might not happen. It also says the owner of the private place must know.
So your parnets can buy it for you only if the owner of the reasturant agrees.

Better chance you convince your folks to get you a beer to drink at home.
