One thing I've always wondered about Christians and immaculate conception -

What would you do if your daughter came to you and said she was pregnant but still a virgin?

I think not ... from my own weak ankles, bad back, and bad vision ... the severe illness I suffered as a kid from an acute ruptured appendix, my father in-law's fatal cancer, my own father's dementia ... I think God sucks at design of living creatures. :)

Thats right. No evolution, merely species that Chuck Norris have allowed to survive!

This sorta reminds me of the South Park episode "Woodland Critter Christmas". That episode was sooooo funny

Indeed an interesting question. Joseph got pwned, he just couldn't accept that the wifey was fooling around and he fell for it. :silly:

Sorry to hear all those things happened in your life. You really aren't being intellectualy honest if you exalt all the "great" things God does and then brush off or attritube to other sources all the terrible things that happen in the world. :2cents:

Thanks, but sympathy isn't required :). All I have is side effects of wear and tear from too much competitive sport and book learnin'. :D My elderly family members have to succumb to something too eventually.

My point is that our bodies show evidence of clumsy evolution, and none of a designer (at least not a competent one).:D

I'd say, "Honey, I love you very much, but God only did that once, and Jesus isn't supposed to come back that way again. Now tell me who it was so I can commit a capital crime." ;)

A joke to you, perhaps ... but not to many, including school boards in Dover, Kansas etc.:)

And it's not a joke to more than a few posters on this board too who think evolution is a ridiculous concoction of the secular progressives, written solely to deny a literal interpretation of the bible.:laugh:

I suggest we allow one at least one thread for silliness.

(Edited to add) In other words, if Christians can ignore the fact that the thread is effectively comparing their Lord and Savior (and His mom ;)) to a lizard, perhaps non-Christians can lay off the "fundie" bashing.

You know, because this is funny.

And that's not.
