Finally going to get to see Doc Watson!

I know there aren't many bluegrass fans around here, but tomorrow I'm finally going to get to see one of my all-time favorite musicians - Doc Watson. Ol' Doc is playing up in Fredrick and I just got tickets. Doc is probably my favorite guitar player and he may not be long for this Earth - he turns 84 in March. It is absolutely amazing that someone that age can still tour and pick the way Doc does. My only regret is that I can't see him play with Dirk Powell down at the Birchmere tonight. Oh well, I'm pysched for tomorrow!

Aw, he is awesome. I saw him play with Merle several times at Wolf Trap back in the day. Great stuff.

My dad is the biggest Doc Watson fan around. He is always trying to get me to listen to it. Maybe I should :)
