I think his stop in Oakland demonstrated how far Norv is willing to bend over for a HC stint.

I think Jerrah should forget the pretense, find a whistle and start calling the plays from the sidelines.

Norv is the next Barry...

Face it Norv if coaches the Cowboys then their fans will know a sensation that we Redskin fans know all too well...seeing defeat snatched away from the jaws of victory.

I am still bitter over the "Monk incident", but having Norv as the puke head coach will lesson the pain just a little bit. Not much, but a little bit.

OK, for those of us who don't know what the "Monk incident" was, please explain.

Other than that, I'm happy to see Norv go to Dallas, too.

Monk didn't get Inducted into the Hall.

Irvin did.

If Norv is hired he will only be the head coach of the cowboys for one season. Thats why he is being brought in. I don't know why Norv would even consider leaving San Fran when its so obvious that he will only be in Dallas for one season and he will be unemployed by this time next year.

You are probably right on the money. I don't see Norv as Jerry's long term plan. It would be Garrett, Rivera or someone like Cowher or Belichick.
Chalk this up as yet another poor decision on the part of Norv. Cowboy fans get used to this. I can't wait for some of his personnel moves.:D

It takes many years to turn a team into a winner, and it only takes one to turn that same team back into a bunch of losers. If Norv is hired he will leave his imprint on that team, as he did here, and as he did in Oakland. Norv is a natural disaster in the football world and he can tear down those walls much quicker than Bill could have ever thought about putting them up.
