The man has single-handedly brought down the honor and integrity of the HOF.

Although comical, any "quote" poking fun at not only a career ending injury, but life threatening one, is just inappropriate and wrong.

Thanks for the criticism. I found this on the web and if there was one quote I could omit from my original post it would be that one. I may strongly dislike him, but I will never wish death or pain on Irvin or any other Cowboy.

And they are pathetic for making a mockery of an injury which could have paralyzed a man.

The comment was not directed at BH, I just wanted to point out how sad some attempts at humor are.

Makes Bobby Taylor look that much better.

He's just about the only DB who was able to contain Irvin during his career.

Its okay to make fun of the neck injury now, he's fully recovered. Besides, its not like the Onion was booing him while he was injured on the ground...:silly:

:laugh: There are a couple of good ones in there. My favorite is "Irvin was completely silent for half an hour right after Steve Young explained mormonism to him."

I also like the "inspirational half-time speech."

The injury one is tasteless though...

He is a HOF but for him to get in over Monk is just funny.
But he should be in the HOF I am not even going to hate on him.
