If we offer the Blazers Thomas and Hayes, we solve the Haywood-Thomas problem and, I think, we become a little tougher inside. Hayes still has enough potential that he might make the deal attractive to Portland.

I'd do it but it would make Brenda angry. :)

id trade brendan since like the previous poster said if we brought in a starting caliber center, haywood would be very pissed. etan is content in his role as backup.

I vote for trading Brendan and keeping Thomas if we had to choose

Here's the thing. Brenda is our starting center. Other than personality problems, he's the starting center I want. I like Magloire a lot but he's a center. We need a POWER FORWARD. One that scores, defends, and hustles.

Antawn scores and hustles.
Ruffin defends and hustles.
Etan should be a PF but we use him as a center.

Let's trade Etan/Hayes for Magloire and use him as a PF or let's find a TRUE POWER FORWARD.

BTW- Chris Webber would have been perfect if he'd even wanted to come back here.

Magloire isn't that good. I used to think he was good because he made the All-Star team that one year, but the East had no big men then. He has actually gotten worse every year since that All Star appearance. He's a decent rebounder, but a horrible defender, inefficient scorer, turnover machine who's twice as slow as Haywood or Thomas, which would factor into our run-and-gun style. When he doesn't play he asks for trades like in Milwaukee last year and Portland this year.

Just say no to Magloire, he stinks.

Good enough for me.

I couldn't agree with you more, Chach...

I was secretly hoping we would pick him up... too bad. You see what he's doing for the Pistons...

we couldnt have magloire and haywood in there at the same time, our scheme is based on running and speed, we can have 1 slower guy but not 2 in there, thats why jamison is perfect for this scheme. u dont see phoenix lining up with 2 huge guys in there

So true. The only thing I want to add is that I am SO tired of this team and it's fans comparing themselves to Phoenix. Our lineup is NOTHING like the Suns'. We are bigger and slower than they are at every position except PF.

u are right our lineup isnt close to phoenix's, but i think our scheme is very similar, not using big bangers for pfs, running, what we dont have that they do is a playmaking pg and an elite center
