Seriously, I really look for Gil to fire up the Hibachi tonight. We all know how streaky he is, good and bad. I can't think of a better way for him to come into this thing - in a slump and under the radar. If he comes out and hits 4 of 5 - or runs the rack! - he could go nuclear.

And, yes IMO, it does matter. Gil with a 3-pt title is a better player down the stretch for us than a Gil who had a forgettable performance for the weekend. After all, tonight is the night for him. No way in the world EJ gives him enough minutes in the actual game to have a huge impact...barring unforseen circumstances, i.e. injury, double+ OT, foul trouble, etc.

As far as the one player in the NBA who is absolutly unstoppable from anywhere on the court, its Kobe. Tier 2 consists of dudes like Lebron, Arenas, Dirk, and Ray Allen.
