As was the case with the Nats, their best move was probably the move they didn't make. Such as throwing ridiculous money at the likes of Gil Meche, Jason Marquis, Juan Pierre, Soriano etc. While the O's certainly overpaid for bullpen help the contracts they handed aren't team killers of the likes of Soriano, A-Rod, etc.

If I had to make a selection I'd say Bradford. Modest contract for an effective reliever that fits in well with the dimensions at OPACY. Upgrading the bullpen should result in a better season for the O's however their outfield is seriously lacking some pop. Perhaps with a respectable season they can better convince a big time slugger to make the move to Baltimore.

ill take Aubrey Huff, but all those bullpen moves together are going to help out a lot next year i hope.

I agree. It's a tough call, but I'm glad they completely overhauled the bullpen. Huff fills a big gap, though.

I'll go with Huff.

I think I would have to say the bullpen..Huff helps our lineup out and should help Tejada..But our bullpen was bad last season, and we lost so many games because of it.

Huff is the slowest starter in mlb history! Dude is gonna hit under .210 for the first 2 1/2 months.

If he stays healthy i think he'll be our best addition

Getting away from Canada. Now the team can watch their players play againest 3A talent instead of having them skip #a all the time.

Plus the next DUI player won't stuggle for a visa.

I agree that as much as I love the bullpen solidification, which is very necessary when you have as young, inexperienced and strike-challenged rotation as we do, Aubrey Huff was a huge sign. Miggy really has no protection in the lineup and now we have a bonafide power hitter who can play 1B, 3B and even catcher. Now if we can have a healthy Brian Roberts and Markakis in front of those two to get some runs.....
