I'm all for getting Garnett, but I don't know if bringing signs to the game is a good idea.

Yeah bring signs that advertise getting rid of half the team that will be on the floor. Thats a great way to root the Wizards on down the stretch.

Why not start a thread about Vince Carter next year, which is actually a realistic possibility. You couldn't see him at the all star game without Gil or Caron just a few feet away. It seems like they became really good friends, and chances are he is gonna get out of his deal with Jersey especially if they don't have a winning record. Not to mention he would be perfect in our system. Oh yeah, and he can play the 2.

That sounds great considering he and AJ are related but, we would still need someone to get more rebounds and points in the post and play interior D. I would still take him in a heartbeat. Imagine how exciting it would be with
GA/AD
VC/DStv.
CB/ ? maybe Arvis
AJ/AB going to be a beast/DSong
BH/CB/MR

Does VC play D?

naw i dont think VC would be a goof fit here. Him and Gil shoot toooooo much we need more D and less offense. KG or Paul Gastol

to what it would cost, its not worth it. Stand pat, develop the guys we've got, and hope you hit with 1 or 2 of the 3 Euro's we own the rights to.

I would only want KG if we traded like Etan, AD, and 1st round picks.

Like I keep saying, we already have our KG. His name is Blatche and he only 20. KG is 30 and makes 22M and 24M a year the next 2 yrs.

I mean....I'm pretty sure every team in the NBA would take KG for that price. Thats absolutely nothing.

the problem is our window of opportunity is not large, with KG on this team and we can keep our big 3 then this team is set

I know how everyone loves Blatche but does he average 20 and 10 every single night, no, and will he, who knows

Pollin would be willing to pay the luxury tax if we were a championship team, add KG and don't lose much then we can be

well if KG was averaging 17 and 8 his second year, is Blatche doing that :)

This post is the exact opposite of the facts.

Abe is not willing to pay the tax. At least I have never heard or read anything that would indicate that. His ideas on the cap at documented to say the opposite.. I just recently heard EG talking about this. What they have been doing is what they want to do moving forward.

Our window is not small, it's large. We have a good team budget and young stars. We don't need KG. We have lots of time to get this right.

As for does Blatche give you 20 and 10. Come on. He has started 3 games and done more then most people here could dreamed of. He is doing awesome.

It's not likely he will give 20 and 10 this year but then again, we don't need that from him. We need what he has given us, a tall athletic big who is an amazing defender. Someone who can disrupt a player like KG, which he did. If AJ was in there, they would have torn us a new one in the post. A double-double in his second game and then almost a double-double against KG. Its just been 3 starts. Talk about passing judgement before all the facts are in.

Also, don't miss out on the fact that while AB is in there, you don't see teams lighting us up from 3 rang. This is what I tried to explain before. Its all connected because of the defense rotating. AB presence has made us a better D all around, even against the 3. The 3s that were scored back to back yesterday that were wide open 3s, AB wasnt in the game.

How many minutes did KG play each game his first year? This isnt Blatches second year, he was shot in the chest his first year. This is effectively his first year.

Did KG come to a playoff team with 3 All Star who shot 60% of the shots?

What possition was KG drafted in? Did he come to the league with a mandate to shot whenever he wanted and work on his game during the game?

Come on. You must be able to see the bigger picture.
