I think that would be perfect. I love it when the giants pick up old running backs.

This is not surprising and BTW should be in Around the NFL. Look for them to resign Musa Smith to tandem with Mike Anderson.

Ravens waive all-time leading rusher Lewis

The Baltimore Ravens waived running back Jamal Lewis, the team's all-time leading rusher (7,801 yards) and 2000's No. 1 draft pick (fifth overall), on Wednesday.

"We are involved in negotiations with [Lewis], and there has been good dialogue. Jamal has been a significant contributor to us in the last seven seasons. It's our hope to have him back with the Ravens," Ravens GM and executive vice president Ozzie Newsome said in a statement.

Lewis was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2003 when he rushed for 2,066 yards, the second most in NFL history. He rushed for 1,132 yards in 2006.
