Staff Writer Alex Marvez picks the five most pressing positions the Dolphins need to address this offseason as the free-agent signing period begins Friday:
Guard: San Diego's Kris Dielman makes the most sense via free agency, as he was recruited to Indiana University by Dolphins coach Cam Cameron and played under offensive line coach Hudson Houck with the Chargers. If too pricy, Baltimore's Tony Pashos and Washington's Derrick Dockery are appealing second-tier options.
Nose tackle: Keith Traylor is set to become an unrestricted free agent, and the Dolphins don't have an heir apparent, which is problematic in a 3-4 defensive scheme. But veteran wide-bodied NTs are hard to come by, with Green Bay's Kenderick Allen the best of a thin free-agent class.
