Good that means they are overlooking us by leaving Jason and Mark off the list :D This is year 2 coming up in the hybrid Gibbs/Saunders offense. We will see.

Some of those Giants fans are :insane:
Honestly, I would take just about any starting QB in the NFL over Elisha. Elisha is a major bust.

I'm not a Giant fan, but Eli is the 2nd best QB in the NFC East. He's passed for over 8,000 yards and 50+ TDs in 2.5 seasons in spite of his struggles when under pressure.

I think his biggest mistake was his decision to not play in San Diego. Since NY gave up so much to get him, he's been expected to put up numbers/achievements similiar to his brother, and he's just not his brother.

What?
He isn't better than Mc Nabb and Romo guaranteed. And Campbell is close already after starting a handful of games.
I think this year Campbell will be easily better with Betts and Portis and his first camp as the starter. Not having Tiki is going to seriously hurt the Giants. Then they lost some linemen too. Eli will have a rough time this year.

I said 2nd best (McNabb's better). He, IMHO, is better than Romo and definitely better than Campbell at this point.

I think that the original poster was listing ALL those people as better than eli. That'd why campbell wasn't on there.

Well, not when you look at Qb ratings and fumbles, sacks. Stuff like that. And that was with Tiki.

Donovan McNabb is the best QB in the East. IMO, Campebell will be second best next year (i think he has more potential, with the stronger arm and quicker legs) followed by Romo and then Elisha.

It's not unreasonable to say that as I type this, right now, Eli Manning is a bottom tier NFL Quarterback. That could change but there's so much wrong with him, if i were a betting man I wouldnt bet it on it. His mechanics stink, which contribute to him being in the top 5 interception leaders in the NFL. He also over and underthrows everyone by a mile which contributes to his putrid completion percentage. His rating is terrible. He makes awful decisions with the football...I am so fing tired of hearing about how much film he studys and how hard he works. BULL! He is not emotional at all, he can not rally the troops and take charge of a football game. And don't bring up his TD passes because he throws a ton of TD passes because the Giants are always down by a good margin so he has to throw desperation passes. He also throws a ton of INTS because of this. Because the second half of most Giants games they are forced to completely abandon the run, so of course he's gonna hit the endzone sometimes. AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP WITH THE 2 PLAYOFS IN A ROW. IF YOU CALL BACKING IN AT 8-8 BY DEFAULT BECAUSE A BUNCH OF OTHER BAD TEAMS HAD A LITTLE BIT OF A WEAKER SCHEDULE A SUCCESSFUL SEASON, THEN I QUESTION YOU AS A GIANTS FAN! THIS YEAR WAS AS BAD AS IF WE HAD GONE 4-12 AND MISSED THE PLAYOFFS, A COMPLETE WRITE OFF FOR ME. NOTHING POSITIVE CAME OUT OF THIS SEASON!
I like this guy.

I'm a Giant fan, and Eli is the 2nd best QB in the NFC East. He's passed for over 8,000 yards and 50+ TDs in 2.5 seasons and struggles when under pressure. I think his biggest mistake was his decision to have a majorly large thread of photoshop pics with him drunk on ES. Since Ernie Accorsi gave up so much to get him, Ernie's been expected to put up numbers/achievements similiar to his brother, and he's just not his brother.
