For my 1000th post, a tribute to Extremeskins

I first came to this site about 2 years ago during this same time of year. One of my friends sent me a link to a Sean Taylor video from this site and I started browsing around the fourms. I was in awe in how much information was on the site. This is where I first heard about the Coles trade, the signing of David Patten, the news that we were going to draft a QB in the draft.

Like some others, I lurked for a good amount of time before I started to post. I visited this site about five times a day, but I would only post here and there. When I really started posting was when I met a bunch of you before the Seattle playoff game two years ago to send the team off. It was just an awesome atmosphere and for whatever reason, that made me want to post more and more.

Some of you all have wonderful insight, some of you have crazy ideas (yes that's directed to you, Mr. Let's trade for Vick, Mr. Draft Brady Quinn, and the like :silly: ), and most of you (including me) are crazy. But the one thing we all have in common is that we are all die-hard Redskins fans. We will suffer with them, we will celebrate with them, and we will always be with them - through the bad and good.

Thank you, Extremeskins, for bringing me closer to the Redskins and our fans. So here's to another 1000 posts, another 1000 threads on Dre Bly, and most importantly, another year of Redskins football. Cheers :cheers:

My 1,000th post was in defence of Brunell staying... I had to hide it inside someone else's thread. :laugh: Ridiculous crazy ideas and "we suck and always will suck at everything" posts asside, this site is what has allowed me to survive as a lonely diehard in exile.

how bout you do a tribute to your sweet signature and update it some. the brunell thing is kind of dated. i suggest adam archuletta as your new whipping boy. :)

I cant believe I went all these years and never was coming to this site. I look at some the member and they've got 30k-40k post. I think dam, this site has been up for years. As long as this site runs, I will be on here. I will 70, still coming to this site. It has to be best NFL team site out. And I love how your av changes after you make a certain amount of post. Thats make me want to keep posting, just to see what my av is gonna be next. And it's not the just the sports sections that I like, I've been on to the TAILGATE section, and there are so many different topics and interesting opinions, and someone is always replying, so it never gets boring. Extremeskins makes my days at work go by so fast. Props to whoever runs this site, and all the mods who get on me for cursing in my post, thanx, I've gotten better. HTTMFR

Are you stupid? We're trading Campbell to KC for Trent Green. Then going to trade our #6 to Dallas for Brad Johnson, and last, but not least, we will sign Drew Bledsoe because he's "super smart". Naturally, Collins will have to be released.

We will then, for the first time ever, have a 3-man rotation at QB with Johnson, Green, and Brunell. They will be called the "Super Close to 40" group.
