Hoey, Fiorentino demoted to minor league camp

I am not surprised about Fiorentino, the outfield is crowded as it is, but Hoey was a guy a lot of us expected to make the team out of ST. I can't say I'm too upset, it must mean that our bullpen is even better than we anticipated, and some seasoning in AAA for both he and Fiorentino can do nothing but help them. Thoughts?

Like the move, Bullpen is a tough sell after the free agents we gathered this year, and same thing for outfielder... Both will get more time in AAA, but I think that Hoey will be a possible bullpen callup if there is an injury

I like guys like Hoey and Birkins. Hopefully we won't need them till Sept given our deep pen.

Guthrie is an interesting option for the pen as well, given that he can be a long man for a pen of mostly situational (4 or less batters) guys.
