RICHLAND TWP., Pa -- Charges will be brought against Steeler Joey Porter under Pennsylvania law.

He is facing six charges total, including owning dangerous or vicious dogs and failing to confine his dogs.

The charges will now go before a magistrate and Porter could face more than $1,000 in fines.

Porter's two pit bulls allegedly got loose and killed a neighbor's horse.
