Two months to go before the MLB draft... why not speculate a little bit in true Extreme Skins fashion. We draft fifth overall then not again until the fourth round (lost our second to Braves for Baez, and third to Mets for Bradford)
I say if he's available we need Matt Wieters. Slugging catcher out of Georgia Tech. If not maybe a high school fireballer like Matt Harvey or Rick Porcello. Power hitting/arms are at a premium on the free agent market. Best to develop them in house and get em cheap.
Though those high school pitchers are risky, we atleast have the depth to give them a few years in the minors to slowly work their way up. I only mention them because power hitting cathers are such a rarity that Wieters could be gone by the 5 spot. Only close to certainty pick at this point is that the D-Rays will take Vandy lefty David Price with the first pick (They say he is better than Andrew Miller)
