Damn, I know I don't pay much attention during the offseason. But when the hell did the Yankees sign Ortiz? We're going to be deadly with him in the 4 slot. :D

my bad, I copied and pasted and changed accordingly, and I forgot to remove that part :doh: :laugh:... sorry abou thtat :P
oh yeah, and as for the ripken comments.... even Jeter when getting to the majors saw the way that Cal worked to become as good as he was and said "Wow, so that's how you get to be Cal Ripken!". Cal wasn't overrated and Jeter's rings, while he had an impact on getting them, he was surrounded with better players than Cal was for a long time and also the rules were different with a majority of the time being only 1 pair of playoff series and only 1 pair of divisions per league, so basicly it is easier to get into the post season and win the series than it was for most of Cal's career and yet you want to compare Jeter's rings to Cal's? Yeah, that's fair....;)
