Do anybody know how I can get the names of the songs that are played between segments on SportsTalk980?

I guess I will never know...

FYI the reason I want to find this certain song is so that I can sample it....

It's a guy singing with a guitar and he says somthing about letting his free flag fly....

listen to 980 all the time what song are u talking about? is it a commerical with a song in it? I will keep my ears open.

no its not a commercial...I was listening to 980 over the internet and between segments they play the same songs all the time but today i heard one i never heard before. sounded old like maybe 70's or early 80's. I was thinking maybe Billy Idol or something. The song is made up of Guitar and Drums and the guy chimes in from time to time but he mumbles and I couldnt pick up much. The one line I did pick up was I going to let my free flag fly.

well I was wrong...the song is actually "Almost Cut My Hair" by David Crosby...lol

Not to be a nitpick - the studio recorded version you hear of that song is from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Maybe Crosby wrote it/did it before that band came together, but that's the only studio version I'm familiar with.
