View Full Version : Wow i'm EXTREMELY impressed w/ our pitching staff!!!

Our pitching staff has been disappointing at best for a number of years. I can recall our Sydney Ponson aquisition thought to bring us consistent ace in the bull pen but obviously things didn't work out. Rodrigo Lopez never really panned out as well as i thought he would.

Anyways, i've never watched a game where our starters and closers dominated the way they did. I'm very impressed with our team. We started off slow w/ an 1-4 but now i can honestly say i'm anxious to see what this team can do.

The bullpen has been money except for 1 game in NY..And the starters have been pretty good as well..Anyone got the stats of our team ERA?

Team ERA: 3.73, good for 4th in the AL

#1 in K's in the AL with 90

Middle of the pack with a .249 Batting Average allowed, but still good.

Only allowed 7 dingers so far, good for 4th.

#2 in walks allowed, which isn't great, but we will improve upon.

Yeah, the pitching has been good. I've been particularly impressed with Parrish.

We get Hernandez back soon too. With the rainout and off day Thurs, Wright may not miss a start. Payton is hopefully getting back soon, too. Pen is kicking ass, Starters are pitching well even when they don't have their best "stuff."

i think we need orange koolaid for this section rather then the burgundy colored stuff.
