Stink and Eric Allen just burst the bubble for poke fans

Stink, says Davis was a huge mistake signing, Columbo an pk player, Flozell isn't any good anymore, and that he shuts down after 3 seconds...

Fact or Fiction:

TO will have more TD catches than drops- all 3 fiction

TO is breaking down, and won't do what he needs to compensate for his eroding physical skills

Eric Allen agreed saying he will take non prime time games off

Romo will be a Pro-Bowl QB in 07- all 3 fiction

Romo won't be a pro-bowl QB, and without a good OL won't have much success

EA said he faded in the end last season, and will come back to earth, plus last season he only made it because it was a down year for NFC QBs

The Pokes win a playoff game in 07 -fiction 2-1

Only Floyd Reese felt the pokes could even make the playoffs

Yup, no reason to play our season now that Eric Allen and Stink said We wont win a playoff game.
Thats what I love about the media. It's all exacttly what you already know ... McNabb goes down ... "The Eagles wont make the playoffs"

But then something miraculous happens

"What a great comeback by Philly, we knew all along Garcia would lead them to the playoffs".

In all honesty, I don't see us going any worse then a 9-7 season.

April-19th-2007, 05:03 PM
I am actually all for the "Dallas as being overlooked/undestimated" role. It sure beats having to play teams like Jacksonville and their fans treating it like it's the biggest regular season game in their team history.

And it's not like there's any bias by Schlereth and Allen. Nope, none at all

Staying relatively healthy, especially on the O-Line and at OLB will be big. I think they can deal with Julius. He's not great, but he's not Eddie George in his twighlight either. And Owens didn't have problems getting open, but problems catching the ball. If his hand is healthy, he should have much less drops.

Thanks Bubba. Keep up the good work! I love coming onto the Redskins message board and reading all the insightful commentary you provide. I may seem completely ego-centric because I dont realize the content you and tr1 provide isn't for us cowboys fans but for the multitudes of Redskins fans this board is actually meant for, but what do you expect from a cowboys fan? Intelligent thought? Your expectations are way too high then.

Fixed that for you.

Disclaimer. This isnt intended for the many respectful, intelligent cowboys fans that actually provide stimulation. You know who you are.

All I have to offer is my opinion, and opinion in which you will disregard and claim ownership over me by blindly repeating what stink and Allen said over and over again.

But just for s***s and giggles:

I believe Davis was a very good signing. He will be playing guard, a position he is much more suited for, as he is a bulldozer will exceptional strength and size. His biggest problem was his work ethic, the talent has always been there.

Marco Cloumbo performed at a very high level last year, and will continue to do so. He is a former 1st round pick, so he has the ability, injuries had limited him most of his career however. Now heathly, he is living up to his potential.

Flozell will be what he always has been: A Pro-Bowl caliber LT with subpar speed who loses focus from tieme to time. Hopefully he keeps his mind on the field the wyhole seaosn and avoids injuries, he's still better than the majority of left tackles in the game, as there just arent that many.

If TO catches 13+ TDs again, I really don't care if he has 10-15 drops. His drops didnt keep us from the postseason and wasnt the reason we lost to Seattle.

Romo was a Pro-Bowl QB in his first year with a bad O-Line, why can't he be one in his second year with what will be a better defense and a better line? Doesnt make sense.

We are in the same category as about 8 other teams in the NFC, teams who could either win their division or finish 8-8. The Saints and Bears are the only teams anyone is taking serious note of in the NFC.

You say they've improved. Very debatable. You've picked up a slug to play on the o-line...and have another issue there that hasn't been addressed. You have a qb who looked so-so at the end of the season. You have a new coach. A management-by-committee offensive coaching group...and you continue to choke in playoff situations.

You have an average team at best. These analysts are dead on.

Ken Hamlin is a MASSIVE upgrade over the debacle at FS Dallas had last year

The draft will likely upgrade either the secondary or WR position

We didnt lose any major contributers to a playoff team a year ago, why should we not believe we will make the postseason this year?

New head coach. Lax atmosphere

Davis is a turnstile. He allows more sacks than should be legally allowed.

Hamlin is aight, but nothing to write home about and Romo is the sensitive type. He'll falter because last year will play over and over in his mind.

You say they've improved. Very debateable.

Not really its not, if you are honest

Hamlin > Watkins as a rook and Davis

Davis at Guard BIG > Injured Rivera

No debate

You've picked up a slug to play on the o-line...

Picked up a guy who was a pro bowl alternate as a guard according to coaches and players, he was also alternate last season thanks to the coaches and players vote

and have another issue there that hasn't been addressed.

No we dont.....

You have a qb who looked so-so at the end of the season.

also known as a QB who played 10 games in his career and made the pro bowl. I am sure you a Redskins fan banking on a young player to improve at QB can understand thinking a young Qb will do better

You have a new coach.

Which has enegergized the team and will install his defensive style which is pretty damn good to our 34

A management-by-committee offensive coaching group...

We have no such thing

and you continue to choke in playoff situations.
Has nothing to do with this coming season

The draft will likely upgrade either the secondary or WR position

We didnt lose any major contributers to a playoff team a year ago, why should we not believe we will make the postseason this year?

okay, here's the tough part

why?

Why is Davis an upgrade, because he sure wasn't any good in arizonia, and is considered by most as a classic underachieving bust. So he is now going to the worst OL in the NFC East the past few years running, is now going to suddenly become the next Larry Allen... no better than Larry Allen based on what Jerrah paid him

And if Hamlin is so good, why didn't any other team sign him for a month after free agency, when many teams have a need at safety, including the team he left? The pokes didn't through money at him like they did Davis.

So because Dallas choked down the stretch again last year, couldn't beat the Lions to win the division, and lost again in the playoffs... they should be playooff contenders again, despite several coaching changes HC, OC (with hardly any NFL coaching experience, and zero play calling experience), and DC
and and some player turnover

Hell the Skins went 10-6 and a playoff win in '05, few changes in the starting lineup, but a change in the OC to stumble in '06

what makes the pokes different? besides you say so that is

It amazes me that every single member of this message board that roots for the Washington Redskins isn't at the very least, completely impartial, if not downright complimentary about the dallas cowboys. I mean really, I just can't believe it.

I've been posting in here for about a year now and it still amazes me that those true blue cowboys fans and their team can't get a fair shake in here on this Washington Redskins message board. What's even more shocking is that those dallas cowboys fans who post in here regularly have spent so much time in here and still haven't figured it out. I for one am outraged and truly believe that we, as Washington Redskins fans should give those dallas cowboys and their incredibly impartial and intelligent fans their due. Whisenhunt remains hopeful the Cardinals still have a chance to bring back another of the Cards’ own free agents, tackle Leonard Davis, who visited the Redskins Saturday after going to Dallas Friday. .

Whisenhunt reiterated the Cardinals have to feel “comfortable” with any contract with Davis, but he added “we wanted to make it clear we wanted an opportunity to talk with him should he get an offer.”

and just before these comments:

"Whisenhunt chuckled when he noted that the money Davis will end up with probably won’t be far off the $11 million the Cards didn’t want to give Davis this season had they used their franchise tag."

I for one am shocked that anyone, especially Bubba and tr1, would post negative comments about the dallas cowboys here on this Washington Redskins message board.

And then monkeys flew out of my butt.

Seriously, you cowboys fans bang your heads against a wall over and over, and then expect any of us to take you seriously. Just too funny.

BTW, just saying you think so.. ( then adding...period) isn't actually considered an acceptable response in a debate

The 6-foot-6, 360-pound Davis, a left tackle for the Cardinals, was treated to a $100 lunch at a local restaurant by quarterback Jason Campbell, and was scheduled to join Smoot, Fisher and team officials for dinner.

"If he's going to come here and block for me, I have to take care of him," said Campbell said. "It would be great to have him here."

Davis, 28, who said he would go home to Texas to decide between the Redskins and Cowboys -- he visited Dallas Friday -- met with Redskins coaches and was impressed by the team's operation. In the wake of guard Derrick Dockery's record $49 million contract with Buffalo, Davis said the Redskins have talked to him about playing left guard; Dallas has asked him to play either right guard or right tackle.

Okay, learning a new offense and a new style of defense because of a coaching overhaul.

Finding chemistry with a new safety in the secondary.

Aging at the WR position.

Young QB who will have much higher expectations than last year, and a new offense to learn.

A defensive line and overall defense that struggled at the end of the year.

That's five to start. Why dont you go ahead and name 50 problems the Redskins have. Then I'll prepare my rebuttal.

Brunell was tied for 11th in accuracy. Stats are misleading if you don't watch games and are able to tell what you're looking at.

Case in point with a (in principle) rookie QB who comes in cold after a half a season and throws at least one TD in every single start. I mean Vince Young's accuracy was terrible last year. I guess he's a bust.

1. he was paid more than any other Poke in history, despite the fact he has never... repeat never came close to being a dominant OL at any position. Being big doesn't mean he is good. He has never been consistent, and has had some of the worst stats of all OLmen on a team that has been one of the worst OL in the NFL during his 6 years as a card. Talent =squat without working at it... and paying him huge money up front and guaranteed, isn't going to make him suddenly decide to start working at being good

Marco Cloumbo performed at a very high level last year, and will continue to do so. He is a former 1st round pick, so he has the ability, injuries had limited him most of his career however. Now heathly, he is living up to his potential.

Very High? :wtf: the term is servicable, the pokes gave up 39 sacks, and a ton of pressures last season, as well as the worst YPC Avg, in the NFC East.. and it wasn't all because of Rivera

Where to come up with this stuff

Pro Bowls mean squat, too many players go based of fan voting of the decal, and name value, than talent. As Stink said today, Flozell was never been that good, and he isn't half of what he used to be. Once Larry Allen left Flozell showed Allen covered most of his mistake. Flozell takes plays off,

If TO catches 13+ TDs again, I really don't care if he has 10-15 drops. His drops didnt keep us from the postseason and wasnt the reason we lost to Seattle.

no his drops help keep you from winning the east, and getting a first round bye. Most of his TD catches weren't because of anything he did other than catching a pass when he was in the open, one off a saint deflection, others because of Romo scrambling on a busted play. That worked for a few games, but DC around the league caught on quick, and TO's production went down.. as did Romo's

Romo was a Pro-Bowl QB in his first year with a bad O-Line, why can't he be one in his second year with what will be a better defense and a better line? Doesnt make sense.

Romo was put in the pro bowl, nothing he really earned, and on;y because most of the NFL QB's were injured or having a down year. And the last quarter of the season, after defenses learned how to contain him, he stunk at times... and didn't really do anything worth mentioning. Plus like bledsoe, he has trouble holding on to the ball... and his luck in getting those back, won't last forever.

We are in the same category as about 8 other teams in the NFC, teams who could either win their division or finish 8-8. The Saints and Bears are the only teams anyone is taking serious note of in the NFC.

Actually all teams are is the exact same catagory... a brand new season

except few has had the coaching turnover the pokes have had, and if you want to go by last year the Pokes lost 4 of their last 5 ( 5 out of 6 if you count the wild card game)...

Let's see, where do I begin.

Why dont you go ahead and name 50 problems the Redksins have. Then I'll prepare my rebuttal.

You're persistant, I'll give you that

1: Shawn Springs is getting old and declining quickly

2: Fred Smoot gives up a TD every 6.3 passes thrown his way, second highest in the league

3: Carlos Rogers is very schitzo, looking great at times and horrible at others. Where's the conssitancy?

4: Sean Taylor gave up more YPC than any safety in football last year and played substantially worse statistically in the secondary than Roy Williams did.

5: Jason Campbell had the second worst accuracy of any starting QB in the league and many think he lacks the tools to live up to his first round draft status

6: Al Saunders. 'Nuff said

7: Greg Williams, what happened to him?

8: Can Clinton Portis return to pre-injury form?

9: Can Llyod and Randle El prove they werent the epic FA busts they seemed to be last year?

10: The loss of Derrick Dockey will hurt. The question is, how much?

11: Can Joe Gibbs return to pre-CBA form or will the new NFL continue to kick his ass?

12:Can Ladell Betts prove last year wasnt a fluke?

13: Strong safety? Anyone?

14: Can Andre Carter get past his average 2006 campaign and live up to expectations?

15: Can the Redskins generate more pressure as a whole to help the secondary?

16: Could Rocky Macintosh really be that big of a bust?

17: Shaun Suisham?

18: Can Derrick Frost avoid reverting to his pre-2006 form?

19: Can Santana Moss get back on track?

20: Will London Fletcher bomb like all the other big FA acquisitions Washignton has ever made?

21: Warrick Holdman, please, make it stop

22: Can Joe Salavea and giuve Griffin some help on the inside?

23: God forbid anyone ever lines up 4-wide against Washington's corners. Ade Jimoh? Kenny Wright?

24: Will Gibbs FINALLY get away from the ultra-conservative playcalling?

25: Who is the #2 TE?

There's 25, 25 more on the way

Only Vince Yougn had a worse accuracy rating among starting QBs

1: Shawn Springs is getting old and declining quickly

But is healthy and therefore only a potential problem that was addressed with depth.

2: Fred Smoot gives up a TD every 6.3 passes thrown his way, second highest in the league

Only in the Minny cover-2, a defense he wasn't suited for. Smoot is a man-to-man cover guy and did very well before he left for Minny. Being back in the scheme he flourished with and playing man more will help emensely.

3: Carlos Rogers is very schitzo, looking great at times and horrible at others. Where's the conssitancy?

Again, see above, Smoot and depth.

4: Sean Taylor gave up more YPC than any safety in football last year and played substantially worse statistically in the secondary than Roy Williams did.

Speculation at best. Unless you know for sure what Taylor's assignment was on each and every play, you're BS'ing around.

5: Jason Campbell had the second worst accuracy of any starting QB in the league and many think he lacks the tools to live up to his first round draft status

Many? Um, got a quote form a valid source? Again, speculation. Also, Campbell started as a back-up and moved to the starting lineup after just a few games. He also was learning a new offensive scheme, something he's had to do every year he's played since college. Speculating as you do, it seems to me he'll do better with another offseason under his belt and the starting job in hand. And before you even think about retorting with Romo, he had 3 years under the same offensive scheme, a huge advantage.

6: Al Saunders. 'Nuff said

Please, say some more. He's only one of the most prolific offensive coordinators in the NFL today. Big surprise that the Skins struggled in their first year. Now with another offseason to study, things will fall into place.

7: Greg Williams, what happened to him?

Again, please elaborate. Lacking personell GW did what he could. Not seeing the problem considering when he did have the right guys healthy the Skins were a top ten D.

8: Can Clinton Portis return to pre-injury form?

If he doesn't we're well covered with Ladell Betts. Can the cowboys say the same?

9: Can Llyod and Randle El prove they werent the epic FA busts they seemed to be last year?

Lloyd was a bust. Randle-El just a fine job and made plays, Dont see the bust part. Again though, another year in the offense should help. Ask again next year. If you're still here.

10: The loss of Derrick Dockey will hurt. The question is, how much?

If they get a guy to play as well it won't hurt. If they get a guy who can pull, watch out. having 4 of 5 guys set and a solid group for competition in the fifth spot will allow us to have a solid line. Dockery wasn't a probowler after all. He was the weakest link on a dominant line This one, I'll give you though.

I can keep going if you want, but I'd rather stay on topic

You haven't been on topic since page 3. I see maybe three or four points here, certainly not ten. I'll give you db's, health (then again who doesn't have that issue year to year), and the guard spot. The others aren't valid points at all.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/03/03/AR2007030300808_2.html?nav=rss_sports/redskins

Weeks ago cowboy fans were saying the giants offered the most money, more than even the cowboys. Now there is an article stating the Giants were never in the running even though apparently they offered the most? I'm a little confused here, why in the name of MONEY would Davis give up making more money by saying he wasn't interested in the giants? If they did offer him a huge deal he would use it as leverage, but by saying it was down to 2 places and never meeting the giants it would appear there never was an offer. HEHATEME could try to explain this one to me because i really am not seeing this, either Davis's agent knows nothing about money and leverage, or Davis really wanted to lighten Joness' pockets. I can find an article saying the cowboys paid more than the giants or redskins offered, weird how that works:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?id=2796687

Sportswriters and their families were quick to condemn the signing, saying that Jones would rue the day he guaranteed Davis $18.75 million. Even a couple of high-ranking members of the organization were floored by the price Jones paid in outbidding the Giants and Redskins.

You're persistant, I'll give you that

There's 25, 25 more on the way

again, changing it to the Redskins :jerk:

and will a falling star hit Fed-Ex field during a game??? :excited:

come on dude these at best are very weak, and have nothing to back them up to make them legit, most are laughable

1. Shawn Springs will be 31, and hardly declining rapidly.. the Redskins defense played remarkably better in the games he played than those he missed with injury (which has fully healed BTW)

2. Last season when he was in Minnesota? Smoot is better suited in GW system in DC, and didn't give up a single TD his last season with the skins (only two years ago)

3. Rogers had sophomore problems for the first half of last year, but played very well down the stretch and when Springs returned. His biggest concern is dropped Int.

4. That is total BS. Based on the number of passes defended, Williams was much much worse, and while Taylor struggled at times last season, most of it was from doing to much to cover the loss of Springs.

5. Campbell started the last half of the season, his first starts and playing time in the NFL. The point you fail to mention was all young QB's struggle at first, and that he got progressively better each week. He was also one of the most accurate passers in the country his senior year at Auburn, and led the SEC in most passing categories And with an entire off season working as the #1 QB, and getting together with the WR will only aid him. Please list those who says he doesn't have the tools. Funny how I read everywhere, where many think he has the most upside of any young QB in the league

6. Yeah he has only coached a top 5 offense every where he has been except for maybe 3 years out of 20

7. So the fact he has coached a top ten defense every year since he was a DC in Tennessee, before last season he suddenly can't coach  I guess all those injuries on defense had nothing to do with it

8. A separated shoulder???? you're kidding right

9. EPIC? you mean like Davis who was paid $18 million guaranteed? Randle El did exactly what was expected of him as a #3 WR, PR, and to use on gimmick plays, Lloyd had the bad year not Randle El

10. Losing a top OLmen hurts, but Todd Wade isn't a slouch and was one of the best Tackles in the league before getting injured. He has fully recovered, and moving to guard is easier for a player as you said earlier. besides the the other 4 starters are solid, and some of the best at their position in the NFL. Plus Buges is the best OL in the NFL

11. Again are you for real, :insane: Gibbs II has already won more playoff games than the last 4 poke coaches did (combined)

12. A fluke? his career YPC is 4.4 and he has had consistent numbers both rushing, receiving, and on Special Teams, his entire NFL career... oh BTW he is the #2 RB

13. Prielou is returning... anyone, anyone

14. Did you watch the last half of the Skins season, once he became accustomed to Williams schemes... next

15. If they stay healthy is the question

16. :wtf: are you talking about, he had more of an impact on special teams, and filling in, than your #1 last season... and Rocky was a second round pick

17. went 8-9 including 2 over 50 yards, hows Vanderja,,, oh wait.. nevermind

18. can you get real, he has had two solid years for the Redskins, and in the time he's been the punter the Skins punt coverage teams rank in the top 5

19. When was he off track

20. Bomb like Griffin, Washington, Moss, Thomas, Rabach, Springs, I can only hope so.. considering his production in Williams systems before.. I think he will be okay

21. He's in Buffalo genius.... M&W please make it stop

22. Again, the question is can they stay healthy this season, his previous two seasons, he was a beast in the middle. Montgomery and Golston look like keepers as well

23. You really need to get out more... Kenny Wright is in Cleveland

you're looking really foolish, at this point

24. Seriously, he was ranked in the top 10 in 05, and was 3rd in rushing last year... during his first tenure, his teams set NFL records in scoring, yards, passing, rushing.. he was so conservative he has 3 1000 yard WR twice

25. #2 TE :rotflmao:

Todd Yoder, hell of a blocker... of course Sellers is more H-Back, than Full back and can play on the line as well.

thanks for the laughs

And i just posted one that said the cowboys offered more, are you seeing the point here? Its all purely speculation and no one knows at all, not you not me. He never met with the giants, never took a physical and never was in contract negotiations unless they did it over the phone, it is known he never met with the giants at all. I find it hard to believe that Davis did take less money or forgot to mention the giants everytime he spoke to drive up his price, i would bet their offer wasn't serious enough but that again is just specualation. By not visiting the giants, Davis had zero leverage, i think teams rarely fax out an offer. If they did, by Davis not taking a physical or ever going to NY he pretty much showed they did not interest him the slightest. No interest = no leverage.

It's unfortunate people who aren't Redskins fans tend to miss the point of this forum and miss out what a cool place Extremeskins is. They tend to get overshadowed by the haters here but that's cool. Long live Extremeskins!!

The admins here are also among the best you will find of any message board. They tolerate a lot of stuff but aren't afraid to scruff it out once in a while. The honesty is a nice change of pace. A lot of these message boards are governed by dictators who rarely practice what they preach. But that's not the case here.

Other forums would not allow its own members to set up shop for drawing hate like this. But it's all good IMO. I know that if I were a Redskins fan, I'd probably get bored with all of the losing and ineptitude of the front office and become a Cowboys hater - you know, just to keep my interest in the Redskins alive.

I don't mean to be throwing flames at the Redskins Nation, but you know there is at least a grain of truth in what I am saying.

In any event, may the Bubba and tr1 show go on!!

I praise the admins for showing restraint and allowing trolls of other teams remain here so us skins fans can watch the "circus" as you call it.

I also praise the clowns for taking the bait time and time again. Hmmm dont like what bubba and tr1 say? dont respond.

That does not say they made him an offer.
Man I am pretty sure we made him an offer, but I know that we weren't going to give him 49 million whne he ain't do nothing. I can't wait until this season and see what he will do. I pray to God that they put him at left tackle.

Anoyone objectively looking at the situation would probably argue that there is trolling going on both sides. But I agree with you, in the sense that the admins do deserve praise for the job they do.

Clowns? Please...The only reason Bubba and tr1 get responses from Cowboys fans at all is because of their outlandish behavior. It's funny, it's meant to be funny, and there is some great tongue-in-cheek humor to all of it. Personally, I enjoy following the two cousins and their schtick.

So spare me the "Cowboys fans falling into our trap" spin. Not even Bubba and tr1 truly believe that Cowboys fans are "falling" for anything. If they did, then that would mean they are intentionally baiting and the admins would probably do something about it.

How many stats did you make up this time?

off the top of my head....

Davis sacks allowed
Samuels sacks allowed
Taylors pass defending stats
thought Kenny Wright & Warrick Holdman were still on the Skins, and starting
Gibbs ultraconservative playcaller,
alluded that Saunders and Williams can't coach

you can cover your eyes if you want to tr1, but the fact is they wined him dined him and obviously made an offer, since you know he said he was going to decide between offers

according to both the WP & WT, he left without an offer

He is right on one thing though, who is going to be our back up TE??

How do we know Saunders can coach, his top 2 play makers were injured last year and he had a 1st year starting QB for 10 games.

No argument from me. They are stupid statements, but they still don't apply to the accusation that he was "making up statistics."

correct, most forums would just ban the poke fans, though I must disagree that other forums don't allow it's members from posting articles and threads that show their teams rivals in a negative light, in fact most allow ones that are truly meant to insult other teams fans.

But it's all good IMO. I know that if I were a Redskins fan, I'd probably get bored with all of the losing and ineptitude of the front office and become a Cowboys hater - you know, just to keep my interest in the Redskins alive.

If you were a Redskin fan, your hatred of Dallas is in grain from birth, in good times or bad... just the way it is

and I can't see your reference that any Redskin fan would be "bored" with losing since we went 10-6 in 05 and won in the playoffs... something Poke fans would love to say at least once the past 10-11 years.

ineptitude of the front office? All teams make mistakes from time to time... but hardly enough to qualify using the term "ineptitude"... I mean the Skins didn't offer Davis $49.5 million ($18 million guaranteed  )

While I must disagree you are throwing some flames... it's okay, If I was a poke fan (god forbid) I'd probably get bored with all of the losing to Washington and failures in the playoffs, choking down the stretch, etc... and ineptitude of the front office and become a Redskin hater

I don't mean to be throwing flames at the Poke Nation, but you know there is at least a grain of truth in what I am saying :)

go back and re-read the thread

how many times did I ask... almost beg for a poke fan to discuss the topic of what was said on NFL Live

the threads posted are articles written by someone else, or said by someone else

There are no insults, name calling, or any other intentional jabbing in the thread's main post

Believe what you want, but the facts remain the same

The around the nfl forum is for Extremeskins members who are REDSKINS fans to discuss topics related to the rest of the teams in the NFL but not directly related to the Redskins. That's key in understanding what is posted here and who the actual intended audience is. As a member you can feel free to respond to it, but as a fan of a team other than the Redskins, there is no room whatsoever to cry foul. There is no such thing a Redskins fan trolling against other teams' fans as they aren't the intended audience.

Isn't there a sticky that says as much?

Fans of other teams getting their panties in a wad about things posted here is just a nice bonus for us. :)

There is a disease spreading like wild fire around here.

It is called homerism.

Being a fan and being a homer are not the same thing. You can be a fan and not be homer. I wish more people on both sides of the ball would try to avoid catching the homer epidemic.

I love the comments "all you said was opinion"..."Well you asked for it and just responded with opinion of your own"..."No my opinion is based on facts that are tangible."...."No my opinions are based on facts"...."No your opinions are worthless"...."So why did you ask for them"...."I though you were smarter, oh yea i forgot your a fan of team ___"

Side note on this thread: I hate the pukes, but they have every right to dismiss what the media says about them.....that is if Redskins fans can dismiss things the media says about the redskins.

In the stadium there is constant bashing of various (basically all) media reports if they are slightly negative. I have seen even guys like Chris Mortenson getting bashed, so why can we not allow the pukes to do the same?

I know it is fun to rile them up and poke fun but...

Lead by example. No one can take anyone serious who says 1 thing and then does the other.

Id Rather be known as part of a fan base that is respected for being loyal but objective and smart in a debate instead of a fan base that is known to be irrational, hipocritical, and completely blind, but that is just my :2cents:
