B-More sucks. We have more Yankee fans than actual O's fans. And most of those are simply b/c they dont care about baseball at all and root for the closest team in proximity and is the O's by default.

Sell the team and merge with the Ravens. Baseball is for 3rd world countries to fight over.

Sell the team and merge with the Ravens? How do you propose we do that?

Merge a baseball team with a football team?

Honestly they should contract the O's. Nobody in B'more cares about them anymore. The Nats should be a regional team.

STFU, the nats suck. That was the worst decision ever. Waste of money.

Go to hell.

I love the O's as much as I do the Redskins. The MFNYY's, Ravens and Nats can go to hell, too.

He may have a point - Ray Lewis would make a hell of a clean-up hitter.

Say what you will, but when will this team ever compete again? This team desperately needs new ownership. If I had the loot, I would offer to take it off Angelos' hands.

Corey Patterson playing CB and returning kicks!

Well I love the Orioles and we are doing alright this year, but we wont be competitive until Angelos sells the team or something. This guy kept Brian Roberts from being traded for a power hitting first baseman in Adam LaRoche AT THE LAST SECOND OF THE DEAL. Because he is "a good community guy". Or, Angelos needs to let his baseball guys run the team, since he knows nothing about baseball.

Combine the O's and the Nats and we might be competitive.

I keep dreaming that Cal will head an ownership group post-Angelos and return the O's to glory.

As for LaRoche, deciding to pass on him was actually a good move.

that would just be pointless, none of the nats would play, they are a waste of a team that is going nowhere

people are talkin about how the O's should just quit and how the nats are a more "regional team" but i dont know about u, i dont want to watch a team that very well could set a new record for most losses....people that even try to compare the 2nd place O's with the dead last nats are just retarded

Ironically, LaRoche hasn't hit much of nothing so far this year.

Both teams suck remember that... It doesn't matter how good either team does the first half of the year neither team will make the playoffs.
I doubt we will see a local baseball team make the playoffs in the next 2-3 years.

Btw ......
2005 final record
Nationals 81-81 > O's 74-88
2006 final record
Nationals 71-91 > O's 70-92
:silly:

sigggghhhhh...sadly its true, both teams really do suck and wont do anything important (aka go to the playoffs), all i was saying is that at least the orioles keep theyre core of players, unlike the nats who let them all get away (except zimmerman who is a beast).

Hey, i do get to look forward to the orioles goin after texiera after 2008
