I think we all know the story, hasn't made it past the first round in his career. I was rooting for him this year, and thought he had a great chance to get past the first and further down. But here was his post game interview.

No kidding. The guy really gives it his all, but falls short. That really has to suck. I really hope he doesn't finally get to the second round in the twilight of his career as a backup somewhere. It would be really nice to see him get further next year.

Man, I really feel for TMac, I hope he finally gets past the first round next year. They need another player on that team, preferably a point guard.

Jamison, Haywood and a 1st for T-Mac? Arenas and McGrady would dominate the east.

Yeah, saw that on ESPN last night.

Watching the game last night, seemed like a much larger portion of the blame should go on Yao than T-Mac for sure. Guy has the size to dominate in the paint, and easily shoot a much higher percentage, but he settled for backing his defender down and fading away most of the time. Definitely needs to improve his post game in the offseason.

Yeah, saw that on ESPN last night.

Watching the game last night, seemed like a much larger portion of the blame should go on Yao than T-Mac for sure. Guy has the size to dominate in the paint, and easily shoot a much higher percentage, but he settled for backing his defender down and fading away most of the time. Definitely needs to improve his post game in the offseason.

Yeah, Yao was getting on my nerves that game... he was getting beat to loose balls and everything. The whole team was. Utah was just wanted it more it seemed.

I just gained more respect for T-Mac. I feel for him because he really does care, and he had a hell of a series but his team fell short.

I agree.

I am a "follower" of the Rockets. Not too much of a die-hard fan because, I do not watch the NBA too often. However, I do try and watch as many Rockets games as possible.. This is dated back to the days of Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon and Clyde "The Glide" Drexler as well as Kenny Smith.


But, yeah.. I do agree that T-Mac and Yao seems to clash rather then mix. The Rockets seemed to play better ball when Yao was out. If Yao would just use his size and play a style similar to that of Shaq. All the while allowing T-Mac to take the jumpers.. they would be a scary duo. It just seems like 2 superstars wanting to be the leader. They must choose one to lead and adapt as a unit. I'd hope that they do decide to allow McGrady to take more of the bulk of shots while Yao just dishes it off the glass or old fashioned dunks. No 7 foot 6 inch center should be shooting jumpers when you already have a superstar who can handle that gig.

bosh looked like a backup forward in the playoffs

I think Bosh is pretty damn awesome. But he needs a year or two of high quality performances, especially in the playoffs, before people start putting him in a top 10 discussion.

EDIT: Don't I wish we had a backup or even starting forward like that!
