i see no reason why wizards cant make it to nba finals next year

*We are a better team then cavs butler will get better jamison and arenas are top scoring players in the game.

*our bench is steping up and looking very solid

*Miami is getting old and soon going to rebuild

*Pistons are solid but billups will look to move somewhere else in the offseason

*Raptors are a ok young team but they wont go deep for awile

*Nets are a year old kidd turns 35

*bulls are a very complete team and we always seem to have their #(thanks agent zero)

Don't overlook the Nets. Kidd maybe 35 next year, but this year he's playing like he's 10 yrs. younger. And Charlotte might make some noise.

I think we have a good chance, especially if our big 3 are healthy come playoff time in 08'. I think the teams to beat will be the Pistons, Bulls, and Cavs. If the Pistons still somehow keep their core intact, they will be a dangerous squad again for next year's postseason. If Billups leaves, then that will change the whole dynamic of what the pistons do. I would say that he is arguably the most important part of what they do in Detroit. The Bulls will no doubt gain from their experiences this postseason and build off of whatever successes and failures that they have...the Cavs...well, they want to keep Lebron happy, so they will try to bolster their lineup as well. A team that you didn't talk about was the Raptors. There are some good things going on with that franchise, and they will be a very dangerous team coming off a year of over achieving....

Coming back to the Zards, I think we are a good 5 man away from being the cream of the crop in the East. If we can somehow figure out a defensive system that can work, we will be alright. The offense can speak for itself, but of course our achillies heel is the swiss cheese defense that we display night in and night out. I would like to see the team bolster their pivot by way of the draft. Getting a player like Joakim Noah or Sean Williams, I believe would do wonders for us on the defensive end. I think that if we select either one of those guys they would immediately be our best defensive players. So, basically if we can upgrade our 5 spot, and possibly get another player in return by way of trading Todd who can play a little defense, I think the Wizards will be in good shape next year.
