SURRY -- The Surry County property belonging to Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was put on the market and is already under contract to a buyer, according to Long & Foster real estate.
The two-story brick house on Moonlight Road, which was recently raided for narcotics and is at the center of dogfighting allegations, was put up for sale on Wednesday and found a buyer the same day, Long & Foster agent John Brooks said.
Vick had asked $350,000 for the property. It is assessed at $747,000. Brooks would not provide the final sale price for the house.

Hmm. I didn't even think about that.
I only bought the house for the UV lights and the marijuana in the basement ;)

Yeah out in Iowa, where my mom is now, the house you could get for 350 Gs would be off tha meter.

You ask what you get for $350K? Well...if you had bought Vick's house
you would have bought a house with 4600 sq ft., 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths,
and 15 acres of land.
I'd say the buyer got value for their purchase.

Yeah, I've read up a little on real estate in Seattle, and its unbelievable what stuff costs. I don't know how you guys do it.
Here (dallas) the houses are pretty inexpensive, but taxes and insurance are both in the top 5 in the country, so as far as your mortgage goes, its still pretty pricey, even though the houses aren't all that much.
