Key notes from the article.
Describes Taylor as a leader and the article mentions that Taylor is alot thinner now. Maybe hes going to sacrifice some monster hits for INT's. I hope he isnt too skinny because I'm going to miss the decapitations...
Praises Lemar Marshall and his versatility. :paranoid:
Says still working on the Springs situation. (I hope he stays)

He has already built a reputation as a hitter that alone will cause people to shorten their routes and meanwhile he can go for the ball like he did in college. Hopefully we won't see people like reggie brown of all people running away from him becuase he was winded.
btw you going this weekend kitna?

Has he not played multiple positions throughout his football career? 111 total tackles last year, a pro bowl caliber '05 campaign, and he has a nose for the run when his supporting cast is filling their proper assignments. I was the first to criticize him amongst my fellow fans/friends but now that I've had time to reflect, he is best suited at the Will position where he can excel. If healthy (which I believe is the biggest "?") he should have a productive year at the WLB spot barring Rocky getting the start (which would surprise me).

Sean Taylor will lead our team in picks, if he puts his mind to it. I know teams will be throwing away from S.T. but I think GW will be able to force teams to throwing towards S.T. more often. I can't wait to see him and L.L. shutting guys DOWN!

standard gibbs talk, which is not a bad thing. classy, super-smart coach who says all the right stuff.
i was personally impressed watching ST's post OTA interview on redskins.com a few days ago . He seemed genuine, well spoken and ready to work. said all the right things, including the assertion that he has zero problems with his current contract.
Marshall is indeed versatile and apparently a pretty heady player, but I agree with LoudMouth. if he's a starter for us it needs to be at WLB. That being said, I hope Rocky wins that battle in training camp, because we have a lot invested in the fast, hard-hitting LB. I liked what I saw from Rocky late in the season last year, and it would be great if he could carry that over and continue to improve and be consistent play in and play out.
As for Springs, I really like him as a player and lockerroom personality, and feel he's still a lock down corner when healthy, but I have a gut feeling he'll be a cap casualty come june. sucks but that's my hunch. hope i'm wrong.
Hail.

I was kiddin man. I like Lemar Marshall. The face was for those who I was certain were going to come in and think it automatically meant Rocky goes to the bench.

To me it sounds like rockys already the starter, he says how marshall can play back up every position and did not say he will just move over to that position

I'm gonna go the other way here...i think Rocky has the job as of now. Now if in camp marshall is much better then he will get the job but otherwise i think the coaches want to see what this kid can do.
