Felton Delaware - On a scorching hot day in downtown Felton, Delaware, Ryan Clark was again teamed up with the likes of Marcus Washington, Joe Salave’a, Phillip Daniels, and Demetric Evans. Unfortunately it was only to join his old teammates in a charity basketball game. And in doing so he made all Redskins’ fans present wonder how the Redskins’ front office let him get away. But more on Ryan later...

Promoter Doug Lawson and ex-Washington Redskin/New York Giants linebacker Jessie Armstead joined forces to put together a fun filled afternoon in the cozy confines of the Lake Forest High school gymnasium. The event featured current and former Redskins players competing against Lake Forest, a team of local amateur basketball players.

I can't help but feel sorry for Ryan Clark. He's a skin at heart. :logo:

Did Armstead ever play a single down for us? Including preseason.

EDIT: I agree, Clark is def a true Redskin. Maybe he'll come back one day ala Smoot.

Actually he played many downs for the Redskins. He was here for two years, 2002, and 2003. According to NFL.com, on September 22 of 2002, he logged 14 solo tackles against the San Fransico 49'ers.

The pics of Philip Daniels are ridiculous --- I'm starting to realize why he wanted to workout on his own this offseason, he looks like he'll be able to throw tackles out of the way...

Man, if I were a Skin's coach, no way in hell would I allow my players to play basketball (even for a good cause)....easiest sport there is to tweak a knee, hamstring, or worse.....

Really bad idea in my opinion. I know they're human beings who deserve to be able to do what they want in their off time, but basketball? Makes me very nervous.

Daniels looks incredible.

Of course it is still to be seen how training away from Redskins park will affect the actual number of Ws, but in terms of physique, Lloyd, Springs, and Daniels all look absolutely incredible. In a purely non-sexual way, of course
