How long will it be this year?
I created this in honor of Philly fans claiming that Portis' best days are behind him as a RB

This voting turnout reminds me of our county's total vote for Orphans Court Judge.

I don't wish injury on anyone (except TO), but it'd be pretty funny if it were early on AND Garcia tears things up in Tampa.

That depends...
Who is he going down on to keep his job? Ried or Kolb?

Why isn't there a "Healthy All Season" choice?

Eh, personally, I think he'll get hurt again, but there's a chance he could last all season. And a healthy McNugget means the Eagles will be serious contenders - again.
Although, if he's unhappy, being healthy hopefully won't have anything to do with it... Hopefully.

I hope he stays healthy all season.
I would rather play the Eagles with him, so that when/if we win we don't have to hear the excuses.

I actually have nothing against McNabb even though he is an Eagle. He's a great QB and fun to watch, unless he's making big plays against the Skins. His durability could be a question mark seeing that he hasn't played all 16 games the last 3 seasons, and has only started 3 full seasons in his 9 year career. I could state how his injury will affect his future performance due to trying harder to avoid getting injured once again, but that would be foolish wouldn't it?

Fletcher huh, good call. People are so quick to metion Taylor and even Landry in regards to knocking people out of a game. Nice to see Fletcher get some love.

my guess: he'll make it about half the season (start off hot as usual) before the wear and tear begins to mount. add a diving hit from behind to his legs while scrambling in week 10 and you've a cart on the field and serious talk about mcnugget's career as a starter being over.

Not terribly likely, given the last few seasons.

Westy where are you?
He'll be done by week 13. Maybe enough to get into the paloffs, but unless Kolb or Feeley can actually be good, they'll be out of the first round.

I said weeks 14-17. I really don't think he'll get injured. He's had 3 season in a row with an injury and I think this year it stops.

He has to get on the field at 100% first, but after that? Who knows. He could stay healthy all year. Let's see how his knee heals up before we predict yet another injury. And let's see if Reid does what he says and runs the ball more. There are just way too many variables. First things first, let's see him healthy.

I don't see how he can possibly be 100% healthy. Not less than 10 months after the injury occurred. Maybe, but I'd be surprised.
He needs to pray for the development of Hunt and the durability of Westbrook/Buck as much as his own health. If the running game isn't efficiently displacing some of the offensive pressure, it will be even harder on him.

Honestly, I think he might get bumps and bruises, but he won't miss again until the end. That reason because Reid will rest him for the playoffs.....hopefully they will have a 1st Rd. bye.

100% healthy is a funny thing coming off ACL injuries, from what I've seen. Guys look and claim to feel as though they can do anything they need to do, but they never look entirely comfortable. People point to Carson Palmer as the exception to the rules of recovering from ACLs, but I'd say he's really just another example of guys looking slightly off the following season. He played pretty well, and definitely got better later in the year, but he never looked as smooth and comfortable in the pocket as he did the season before.
I'm nervous about it. We can talk about modern physical therapy as much as we'd like, but the simple fact is that ACLs are very serious injuries for athletes.Luckily, I think a slightly-off McNabb is still infinitely better than any other QB in the division.

So when do you think he might get hurt Bubba? It would be nice to read your answer and see what makes you think what you do....

Dude, that was awesome. I'm not sure if it was you in the past, but I truly do love these sorts of posts more than just about anything else posted on internet message boards.
Congratulations for making the most honest statement in a few days.

Looking at his injury history, it's really a lot more likely that McNabb does not finish the season. I wouldn't wish that on the Eagles, but that's just reality at this point.
I wouldn't even make the statement that he's the best QB in the division anymore. Have you Eagles fans not heard of the great Tony Romo and his 95.1 rating?

I can't vote in this. This thread isn't sportsmanlike in my view. I know he isn't saying that he wants him to get hurt but it is close enough.

Week 6-9.
I also think Philly will be on top of the division when he falls... and that they'll descend quickly after. (No Garcia this time.)
