I really can't wait to see how "Jaws" rates these, on Sportscenter. Cause, there's no real way to see who's number one until the end. It can't be predicted in any division, let alone ours, cause there's so many question marks on both sides of the field for every team. Will Romo be a one hit wonder? Will Eli finally work out? Will JC work out, Will Brandon Jacobs work out? Will Marion Barber work out? Will McNabb just do some work with out his leg exploding? How will we handle Portis and Betts? How will Phillips handle T.O.? How will T.O. handle T.O.? How will T.O. handle footballs? Can the Eagles overcome all the personnel they lost in the secondary? Can we overcome adding no personnel on the Dline with adding it elsewhere? Can the Giants overcome their destiny to suck on D without anyone named "LT"?

I know that some of you mega posters have disdain for us cheerleaders and waterboys in general, but you gotta love this guy. I think this was his first thread and look at it go!

As an early responder to it i can attest to the fact that we went from almost no votes to taking the lead! I attribute it all to FEAR OUR D. We were called upon and we rocked the vote, the vote that matters.

Now i know some of you say what does it matter? "lets see it on the field" and "this poll means nothing", but i ask you:

When you line up against our division rivals in Madden or whatever you play, don't you get some extra adrenaline in your veins? Don't you breathe extra fire?
That doesn't affect the real game either but you still get jacked.

Whew! Kudos to those of you who kept up with this yesterday. I voted a few dozen times (I think 50) on Friday, but got busy yesterday and forgot. I was relieved a few minutes ago when I went and voted again and saw that we have left those other turkeys in the dust.


The poster that started this DOES deserve our thanks. I think those that were negative toward that person and this thread just did not have anything better to do. The fans are learning the Skins fans are the best in the NFL! This is the last night for the NFC East poll, since ESPN will post the results tomorrow. We are only at about 55% for that, and 50% for the NFC poll. Let's give it our best, whomever has the chance tonight, and enjoy the results tomorrow. The NFC poll will post results on Friday, so we will have more time for that later this week.

In a weird way, this feels like a nice prep rally for our fans. I can only believe that the more our fans believe, the more our coaches will believe, the more our players will believe, and it will all translate on the football field.

This is our year! ESPN may start believing tomorrow...but maybe we will just have to prove it before they start believing. All I know is, as a fan, the most support we can give is believing. The team will feed off of us.

It continues to make me laugh so hard every time I look at our poll results. This is great...And it only gets better...If you read the comments mentioned in the poll(there are 31 in there so far), there aren't any mentioning the Skins until we took the lead.(yesterday) So there are now 2, and here they are for our pleasure to enjoy...

This guy obviously doesn't remember a certain game last season during which our #32 Defense completely shut down the Saints #1 Offense, despite the announcers best efforts to constantly remind the world that they were supposed to be #1 until the final whistle. Stonehands Rogers even got the winning interception. :laugh:
