Does anyone know what is the status on Lavar Arrington? I know he was released by the NY Giants? Is there any team looking at him? Does he want to play this year?

I think he owes Snyder a car wash or two as well. Hard to afford buying our your Skins contract when you're out of the league.

I've heard talk about him meeting with Ozzie in Baltimore.
With no other bidders in the mix, they could really get a bargain if he can rehab ok. They're still stacked at LB despite losing Thomas, so I assume it would be for primarily passrushing duty.

My girlfriend is a bartender at Sharky's in Annapolis and said that he and his wife were in there Saturday night (06/09). He was drinking Long Islands and his wife, cosmos. A couple of the other bartenders and patrons were talking to him about the skins and they said he seemed genuinely sorry about how things went down here when he left. He also admitted to losing alot of fans because of the comments he made to media after leaving.

He was on Doc Walker's radio show recently. Still rehabbing his knees and is opening a Sports Bar/Restaurant across from FedEx Field in the new shopping center, the BLVD at Capital Center in September.

if you don't like the threads, don't comment on them. other than that, I think Lavar would have done great here last season. He might not be the same player he was, but you can not tell me he wasn't an upgrade over Warrick Holdman. Lavar was a great man in the community and i believe that the coaches were wrong in the way they treated him. Lavar is a great man!

Here's a better question:
What is Lavar?
A: the most overpaid linebacker of the 21st century. Has anyone been paid more to do less?

He is at his house in Annapolis with his beautiful wife and children. Hanging out with his friends and making possible life after football business decisions. Just a hunch. :secret:

He's still living in the area with a whole bunch of children. I also heard him saying he was opening up a Sports Bar, how ironic is this, at the Blvd Cap Center called the Sideline Bar.
