what spot did you pick from? I'm guessing you took Portis in the 1st, CJ in the 2nd?
from a FF viewpoint only,,,,,I'd have to agree w/your brother.

Truthfully?
Well for one your RB situation is weak. These are your main point makers and with what you have your going to have to rely on heavy production from week to week with your recievers (Mainly Ocho Cinco). Other than that Bulger is a nice pick and Alex Smith isn't bad either hes a nice bench QB to have.
Picking Wash. Defense is a tough stretch usually that one you can pick up in free agency so you may have been better served picking up another RB there instead.
How many teams in your league by the way? (This also could have a positive or negative effect on my personal Opinion of your team as well)

Yeah your RBs aren't that great. Portis and Deuce will both be splitting carries this season meaning their yards and TD's will go down.
I hope Ports sees more of the field than Betts but ou never know with his injury situatin adn all. Your WR's are solid though.

great wide recievers. good quarterback. great tightend. good defense and washington might have a better defense but good pickup in case. is your kicker david akers? deuce mcallister and c.p. not good. they are splitting carries and deuce mcallister is going to be losing more carries every year with reggie bush improving. we dont know how much portis will split but hes a good 2nd runningback. you should have gotten a runningback like stephen jackson then portis as a 2nd rb.

My RB situation I see it this way....CP is going to get a lot more carries than Betts its not going to be 50-50 Im seeing him go for somewhere around 1,300 - 1,400 and Betts isnt taking carries away at the goal line he fumbles to much. Anyway Betts was always the 3rd down back even when CP was rolling. Plus skins switched to zone blocking thats what CP had in Denver our O line is good. The injury situation I cant say anything there except every player has a chance of getting injured. Duce is a beast so I know hes going to get the carries at the goal line and this is his second year coming off his knee surgery. Bottom line I see a little worry with Duce we all know sooner or later its going to be Bush's backfield but they had so much sucess that they arent going to stop Duce from grinding out the game.
Plus one more thing in my league Betts wasnt even drafted with the numbers he put up and IF he was going to steal a lot of carries away from CP I would think he would be drafted atleast.

I believe you are letting your love of the Redskins effect your judgement in reguards to your fantasy team !!! Number one rule is to not let your favorite team sway your drafting. I have to agree with earlier statements that your runnimg back situation is weak and you could have picked a better Defense !! JMO !!! Don't get me wrong I hope our Defense and Portis both have monster years, but you can't let hope drive your drafting !! :2cents:

The Redskins defense, even when they were tops in the league, were never a good fantasy defense. Also, having two players on the same offense, especially the Redskins can hurt you, unless you've got a combo like Manning Harrison, Palmer Johnson etc...
If I were you I would pick up some young up and coming running backs - you can find them in the free agent pool early in the season.

I think your RBs are very suspect. You can not defend taking Portis in the 1st no matter how good you/I hope he will do this year. Deuce and CP have had significant injuries in the past. You are thin and on banking a lot.
Love your WRs and think Alex and Bulger will be monsters.

Only recommendation I would have would be to drop the Redskins defense and pick up Betts and stash him on your bench, assuming he's still out there.

although I have all Falcons on dnd this year, Norwood goes before Dunn in most of the mocks that I've seen anyway.
