That would not be smart. Daunte wants a starting job and lots of money. He is not going to be happy being Campbell's backup. He will go somewhere where he can either start at some point this year or next. He will be nothing more than a headache here in Washington. I think we need to keep Brunell because of his experience. He can still help with Campbell and the other young guys.

Really, I think you guys need to give the man a break. He is not the QB he once was, but he is a better backup than a lot of guys out there. I think we should let him go after the upcoming season. After we get a couple of young guys molded. Maybe Palmer or Bramlet can take over as the backup next year.
