Got rid of ps3 for 360 elite wow!!!!

So i posted a couple of days ago about how i hate ncaa football for the ps3 and dont buy it well .. i went and traded it in .. for an elite 360 (My roomate has a ps3 so mine was collecting dust anyway) WOW!!!!!!!!!1 First off xbox live should be the standard for how online should be done .OH my god.. I use to dog the xbox 360 but not anymroe my eyes have been opened.. And oh yeah ncaa at 60 fps is money!!!!!!!!1 so smooth and just overall sweet as hell!! i like how when you turn the game on it gives you a espn radio update. I wont dog the ps3 because lair and heavenly sword and metal gear and assains creed ps3 version will kick ***** but wow online games and sports games you can't touch the 360 live is the coolest thing ever! and oh yeah shooters kick but! on it because gears of war( Ive always hated shooters) well just say after playing gears of war I'm addicted to it and went to game stop and put down 20 onhalo 3 wow

P.s thank you to the people on here who have posted that 360 is better overall right now , You people speak the truth and wow i still cant get over how much better x box360 live is then the ps3 network !

Ive never had any 360 system so the elite is my first .. its nice honestly the only diffrence i see ie that its black , comes with an hdmi cable ( which is nice) and 120 gb hd other then that i would assume everything else is the same.

yeah the 120 gb and HDMI cable are my reasoning for wanting to make the switch... Mainly the HDMI cable hook up... any 360 junkies know if they made a connector for HMDI cables for premium?

His answer to everything. Buy the more expensive system to play the game that doesn't look or play as well. Never know what will happen in the future, but the present is 360, and if it stays that way the future may be slipping away(no matter how powerful machine you have). It's not about the machine, it's about the games and game play.

M$ is not flawless they made some mistakes, one is some faulty software, but they have answered the call with a 3 year warranty, and new machines are not the same builds as the originals (which I have been playing flawlessly for 1 1/2 years). The PS2 had it's own issues. I know many people that their DVD players died and had to buy new PS2s, but the PS2 was a good system, it had good games.

I know alot of people with original first year PS2 and they still work great. I don't know of anyone with first year xbox that still works. MS makes systems that don't last. I'm gald your 360 has lasted you.

My first Xbox was fine, my 360 is fine. The problem is stupid ass kids dont read directions, and put the 360 where it can over heat and cause problems.

My original xbox lasted 5 years before I sold it I am on my 3rd 360 now, but I don't care. I just take it to UPS and they handle it for me :) Our ps2 crapped out well before that.

With the new machines being built I am hoping that by the itme the one I have now kicks the bucket, I will get one of those :)

With me getting that new duplex with some roomates I might get a ps3 while they are still only 500. I want an HDTV first, my dad won't let me take the one he bought for me down there :mad:

btw, the ESPN radio is also on the ps3 version, so i don't know what you're talking about...

since you've played NCAA '08 online on both systems, what is exactly the difference between xbox live and PSN? because, NCAA '08 doesn't even utilize the PSN as it has built-in friends list populated from your buddy list on the ps3, stat tracker, ranks, leaderboard, online lobby (east, west, beginner rooms...)

Throughout the life of my relationship with Ps2, I've kept two in my house at all times, and have had to buy new ones probably 3 times.

This thread has just reaffirmed my desire to get an elite, and keep a PS2 around for backwards compatibility.

He is getting his info from the web. Some places report 30%-33% return on 360s. M$ says it is about 5%. I breally don't believe either number, some where in between. Either way got to love the 3 year warranty. I bought mine on release day, so I still have more than 1 1/2 years left on mine. No problems yet.

Yea I got mine last summer and have had no problems. I love it.

I got my 360 the day it came out (Nov 05)...camped out for it, but it probably wasn't worth it. My first one lasted til Jan 06 when it had the "ring of death" Then that just died 10 days ago and I am waiting on Microsoft for my 3rd one. Its annoying that it breaks, but its under warranty and HALO 3 and Xbox Live are the ways to go!

I bought the 360 and then had to replace it because it kept freezing up on me. The second one that I got had problems. Traded that one in for a 360 elite and I have never been happier. Had no freezing problems and it plays really well. Hope you enjoy your 360

I got a PS3 and an Xbox 360. Each system has there ups and downs. To be honest, I really like the PS3 more but I am a little upset on how NCAA turned out for PS3. I've had my Xbox 360 since it came out and same with the PS3. Not one of them has broke on me. I just hope Madden for PS3 is better than NCAA for PS3.

How much was the elite when you traded in your 360?

I know if you trade your PS3 60 gb, you get $300 in store credit at EBgames. I think an XBOX 360 would be around $150 - $200 in store credit so he probabily only paid $300 or less.
