Nothing new here....just a new Spanish article.

Here is the Spanish to English translation:

The days pass and Juan Carlos from Navarre continues without knowing his final destiny in the NBA. Since it announced his intention to leave the AXA FC Barcelona to cross the puddle, the rumors on the franchises interested in the services of the escort have not lacked: Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Memphis Grizzlies, etc. Nevertheless, to day of today, Washington, the team that has the right of the player of Sant Feliu, continues without moving puts on file.

For that reason, no wonder that Juan Carlos be shown a little "nervous" before the uncertainty that surrounds his immediate future. "I would have liked to know my future before incorporating me to the Spanish selection", he recognized the player in the press conference that offered after participating in a campus of basketball, in Frigiliana (Malaga). Not in vain, the Catalonian will travel tomorrow to Madrid to attend Thursday to the presentation of the Spanish selection, in Madrid.

What has clearly from Navarre is that will not play in the Wizards, since "already there are enough players in my position". The last days has sounded with force the interest of Miami by its acquisition, above all after Steve Francis itself to compromise with Houston Rockets, and even has been spoken of a possible encounter among Pat Riley, technician of the franchise of Florida, and the own one from Navarre in the City Condal.

"Only it remains me to continue expecting that they yield those rights, on the ones that there are some teams interested, although for the time being not yet I know where do I be going to go", explained the escort. Another possible destiny is not another that the Grizzlies of Pau Gasol, who already expressed to their team their desire that they put on file their great friend.

The transfer to the Heat is fancied difficult

To Washington not the accounts leave at the moment of to close the transfer of Juan Carlos from Navarre to another franchise. With three players with some you put on file exorbitant, the Wizards aspire to that the team that want to acquire the rights of Juan Carlos assume the salary of men as Brendan Haywood, Antonio Daniels and Etan Thomas. Miami, nevertheless, is not willing to do such disbursement, as reports the newspaper 'Miami Herald'.

Just deal him to Memphis already....

For the Grizzlies 1st round draft pick in 2008.

They get the player they want, we get salary cap relief and we get a 1st rounder essentially for a 2nd rounder (which was when we drafted him).

no room and he lets us get rid of a huge salary which will in turn allow us to sign somebody next year and get us a top draft pick.

Even if we don't get a top draft pick, if EG can dump Etan's contract and someone else's as well such as Songaila's, we may have enough cap space to make a run at Elton Brand.

I doubt were really looking to get rid of him since we just signed him last season, but ya AD or Haywood would be nice to open a roster spot, plus if we can get Jamison for half of what hes going to make next season that gets a lot of cap space there.

My ideal scenario with Miami:
Etan will be bought out and Haywood will be traded with AD and JCN for Barron, Williams, a first and a second

Trades like that don't work in the NBA. Salaries have to matchup within 20%.
