The Juan Carlos Navarro situation really comes down to this: Ernie Grunfeld doesn't have to do a darn thing with the guy. Yes, Ernie is risking losing JNC should he allow next week's "deadline" for a making a deal to expire. JNC would go back to Barcelona, the buyout would likely shoot back up to $14 mill or so and that would be that though the Wiz would still own his rights.

Now, it all depends on how badly other teams want JNC. So far, I've heard that as many as eight have shown interest. Miami wants him badly but has offered a late first round pick (from what I've heard). Now ask yourself a question: why would Ernie help a division rival like that? Answer: he wouldn't. If Pat Riley wants JNC that badly, he's gonna have to make it hurt.

I'm not sure if you're actually familiar with the Farms and asking if anyone has been before, or if you're asking because you've never been and are considering going. But if you're not from Barry Farms, it might not be wise to go down there without some local company (particularly if you're not Black). Just tryna be real with you.

I'm an A Rab and after a day in the sun my skin color can get pretty dark. I wouldn't be too worried about going down there. Especially with the huge police presence. I would have loved to see Gil & Melo there but I was out of town.

If I kept to myself and a low profile, you really think I'd be bothered? Who(and why) would somone want to **** with a 6'2 260 arab in shorts and a t-shirt rolling up in busted ass volvo.
