I figure we should just make one thread and bump it whenever there's an update. Anyway:
-In middle of 100k shots/73 days (!)
-Gained 7 pounds, but went from 11% body fat when hurt to 4% now.
-Glad Deshawn is back (His "Partner in Swag" )

I think it's funny that he said that people wouldn't think shooting 69% from the NBA 3 wouldn't be very impressive

I have a feeling that many of the good shooters in the NBA shoot that well from the NBA 3 when noone is guarding them.
But great to see that Gil has the chip on his shoulder as usual.

Updated. Says he has a big new project (casting voices?). His view on shark attacks is worth quoting in full:
We’re humans. We live on land.
Sharks live in water.
So if you’re swimming in the water and a shark bites you, that’s called trespassing. That is called trespassing. That is not a shark attack.
A shark attack is if you’re chilling at home, sitting on your couch, and a shark comes in and bites you; now that’s a shark attack. Now, if you’re chilling in the water, that is called invasion of space. So I have never heard of a shark attack. When I see on the news where it’s like, “There have been 10 shark attacks,” I’m like, “Hey, for real?! They’re just running around? Sharks are walking now, huh! We live on the land, we don’t live underwater.” :rotflmao:

That had me loling so badly. Arenas is funny as hell and hes right.

Come now.....There is nothing bad about retelling a joke....people do it all the time....It isnt stealing because Gil isnt a professional comedian to start with. It is Gil being silly.

Damn he called out McEnroe in that blog. I wonder if the call out got put on PTI. Anyone know?

The outrage over this is pathetic. Gil is spot on... since when is it illegal to re-tell a joke? Did Gilbert profit off of telling said joke? Didn't he correctly point out that the comedian who originated the joke just got a ton of free publicity?
I hate this "don't steal my nickel" society. Yes, I'm going to trademark the phrase, "don't steal my nickel"... in fact this is the first time I've ever used or heard of it... so from now on if anyone else repeats "don't steal my nickel" when talking about IP theft, they need to pay me for the right to use that turn.

I am going to steal your nickel and not pay you for it....Okay....maybe 83 cents for it....That is a 78 cent profit for you....and I stole that from Gil so I guess I should give him 78 cents too....LOL

Did you hear the one about the monkey and the dog …
I would finish the joke, but I already spent too much time on this post and need to get back to the gym according to McEnroe
. Why do people always try to find stuff to get upset about?

That's good stuff. I never get tired of reading that. I like what he says about DMcG. He found the Marbury interview as funny as I and a couple thousand other people.

I'm definitely happy that Gil shut the 100K thing down. We REALLY don't want him exhausted prior to the season. I also liked his reasoning about needing to dribble more, etc.

Updated:
-Funny story about G. Payton  (the caption is pretty funny too   )
-What he thinks men should do if they're having relationship trouble: I think all men should do this when they have a disagreement. This is Relationship 101. When you have a fight with “the other,” don’t answer their calls and don’t answer their pages. That usually gets the point across that you’re not talking to them. So, I held out for seven days. I went on strike for seven days and stayed at the gym for seven days. I slept in the gym. They got nice couches in there and it just kept me in the gym working on my knee and stuff.
-Fantasy Basketball: You know, I never play Fantasy Basketball (http://www.nba.com/fantasy/) but I always hear a lot about it. The ball boys in every city are like, “Hey Gil. So, how do you feel tonight? Because I have you on my fantasy team …” I’m like, "Yeah … I feel good … What do you win if I do well? Are we splitting it 50-50? If we are then I’ll go out and score 40!” One time a kid was yelling from the stands, “I need you to score two more points! Two more points! Two more points!” So I was like, “OK, here goes your two!” and I let it fly.:rotflmao:

Gil and his damn predictions.....
But as usual, a great read. He definitely goes on a rant about what Echo is doing to the Bonds' ball, but I respect his opinion, not saying I agree about how he feels about Barry in general, but Gil does present a very good point about how Echo is just using money as a means of potentially tainting history.
Anyways, can't wait for the season to come around.
And we better beat Boston, I'm tired of the Wiz losing games where Gilbert makes a guarantee.

For the love of all that is holy, don't get involved with that Bond homerun ball, Gilbert!!! :(
