Ah, the story of an average qb in the NFL...they look great at times, but are truly inconsistent...

Romo Radar
One day after coach Wade Phillips praised Tony Romo for his decision-making, the quarterback threw three interceptions during Saturday's two practices. Roy Williams intercepted Romo on an overthrown deep pass to Jason Witten in the morning, as did linebacker John Saldi on a pass that deflected off the arm of wide receiver Patrick Crayton. Linebacker Bradie James intercepted Romo along the goal line in the afternoon. Before his last interception, Romo had gone 17 for 23 in afternoon team drills — with four of his six incompletions being dropped passes.

well we all know it wasn't because of his great coverage on Witten

Better to make mistakes in practice than in a game...and we know that he makes more big plays than mistakes in a game....

Tr1 would never obsess over a average qb.
With every threads he starts about Romo, the insecure little boy in him comes out.
Its ok tr1, I'd be worried about Romo too !!!!!!!!!!

I love you, Ken...
I'm here to respond to the Romomania (not my term, btw) that has crept here into ATN.
I needed to point out that though Romo has looked good at times, he's looked equally as bad...and that inconsistency in a starting NFL qb usually means he'll end up being another UDFA backup NFL qb in the near future.
With Romo as your starting qb, opposition teams will always look for that easy interception...

Ok, here is an honest question, What has Jason Campbell proved that would make you guys think that he is better than Romo?
I'm only asking that because it is either said or insinuated everyday on here...

do we?
I didnt know ten NFL starts is enough to judge a qb for the rest of his career.

honestly? he has showed that he has an incredible work ethic and strong devotion to leading this team. hes quiet but also funny , and speaks with conviction.
more than anything, he came in last year and did exactly as expected, and he continued to get better.
romo started off strong and then let it go to his head, he is on another planet, and a soft camp and new head coach arent going to make him look any better.
i think bledsoe was abyssmal and romo is average, so of course he looks like a superstar after benching bledsoe. also might i add that you have T.O. and Terry Glenn? Those receivers could make Joey Harrington look good.

Romo learned a lot from Bledsoe. (Put up big stats for 3 and a half quarters, and then throw a pick to lose the game)

the #1 useless response on message boards
provides nothing to a thread, doesn't address the topic, not even an insult
basically it is posted by someone who is so "obsessed" with the poster that they have to post something no matter how retarded, when they really can't dispute the topic
the only thing posting the "obsessed" response, is the slight humor it provides because of the irony of a poke fan who frequents a Redskin board, just to shoot down any threads that show weakness in the Pokes, has the chutzpah to question someone else's so called obsession

We both know that inside you're shivering like a scared little girl because you know it's all downhill from here. I can't wait for TO to eat his lunch in one of the 50 primetime games Romo gets to embarrass himself in this season.

But everyone knows that Jason Campbell, with a 3-5 record as a starter and a 76 QB rating is better than that, because he has poise in the pocket an bad facial hair.

As CP fans have been chanting lately, reality sets in soon. It won't be idle chatter from Redskins fans anymore, it'll be on record and on display. Besides, don't be mad that your boy can't grow more than peach fuzz yet. He'll become a man someday. Maybe after he learns that there's no crying in football.
