Forming an Extremeskins.com league!

I want to make an online league of some members here at Extremeskins.com. We'll use NFL.com for the draft and the leaugue. Would any of you like to play? Please post or PM me if you're interested.

We'll have the draft one week before the regular season.

So far so good. I'm thinking on a weekend like the Saturday the last Preseason week. Give or take a day. I have to find out exactly when my friends' league draft is so I can schedule around that.

I'll know soon enough and I'll be sure to post and let you guys know exactly when ahead of time so you can plan your weekends.

The settings will be standard NFL.com rules.

6 pts for all TDs
1 pt every 10 yards rushing (same for recieving)
3 pts all feild goals
1 pt every extra pt
1 pt every 25 yards passing

And I don't remember the exact defense scoring so you'll have to look that up under nfl.com/fantasy under their rules tab once I get the league page set up. I'll definately do that soon, but right now i haven't heard from my league commisioner so I don't know exactly what time to set the draft, and I have to do that exactly as soon as I create the league. I'll harrass my commish at work this week so I hopefully should know by the end of the week and I'll send out the invites then.

There were 11 slots and I've gotten several more that want to join up. So what I'll do is go by a first come first serve basis, and then hold the others as reserves in case some one decides they don't want to play, or can't make the draft, or fails to provide an email address for invite.

So right now I've found out when my other draft with friends are and I can safely schedule our Extremeskins draft. I want to take a vote. We can do the draft THIS Saturday (Aug 25th) at around 5PM (anywhere between 4:30-7PM to start) EST, or we can wait and do it on the following Friday (Aug 31) around the same time in the afternoon/evening. What would you guys prefer? Let's take a vote. Post in this thread which day you'd rather do it on.

Also, for anyone who hasn't PMed me, or posted in this thread an email I can use to send you an invite to the league, I'll need that by the time voting ends or I'll have to move on to the members who got a reserve spot and did provide an address for the invite.

The vote opens now and will close at 4PM on Thursday afternoon. (So I can give everyone enough time to accept the invites once they are sent out if Saturday is what is chosen and to figure out who's still in.)

As soon as I check the vote after that time, I'll make the league, set the draft, and then send out the invites. I'll then post back here to let every one know as soon as those invites have been sent to your email addresses.

Draft this Saturday 5PM-ish or Friday(aug 31) 5PM-ish... you decide! Voting starts now! :dallasuck :point2sky

Well since I haven't heard from any one, I decided to go ahead and make the draft for Friday August 31 since Sat is tommarrow. If you have any problems making the draft, just be sure to rank your players and you will get the best player available on your board by position. The auto-pilot for your team fills out the starters first and then goes on to the reserve players and it always sticks to your list.

I just sent out invitations and there were some of you who posted saying you were interested but you didn't leave an email address so I wasn't able to invite you.

I decided to just go ahead and invite every one that did leave an email and every one else that is interested that will. There are currently 11 slots open but they'll fill up as people accept their invitations so make sure you're quick to accept yours quick and be sure you get a slot in the league!

I'm going to bump this thread because it seems like some people haven't accepted their invites and we need 7 more people to have the Draft Friday.

If any one else wants to play, PM me an email address that I can directly invite you, or you can just try to click the link in the above post and type Redskins in for the password and see if that gets you in.
